I really don't like English but she helped me hate it more. It was just a very boring teaching style even if there were the occasional videos. No one should have to do so much low level group work as an adult. She is also pretty vague on her grading system. I'm sure there are worse english professors out there but she was not the best.

She is extremely boring and literally explains every little detail of everything she does. She will explain why she's erasing the chalk off the board in a certain pattern for no reason. Her class was pretty easy, there's a good amount of assignments, and her grading never made sense to me. My best paper I'd get a B+ and a b.s. paper I'd get a B+

I consider jumping out of the window every day. This professor is extremely boring and makes me hate writing essays. Its an easy A for sure, but be prepared to be nonstop on assignments. Since theres so much hacking homework, if you miss one or two, you're grade wont suffer much. I don't regret taking her, I just wish I took someone else

A very harsh grader, but very helpful otherwise. I would recommend this professor, but be prepared for the worst when taking the tests.

I had Professor Angona for English 151 and her class was pretty easy. We had some reading assignments and homework questions to do, and we wrote a lot of essays, but the class was easy. We never had any tests and the essays weren't that bad.

I took Prof. Angona for History & Grammar of English and it's much more of a task than you would imagine. A relatively small paper with plenty of required sources was a bit aggravating, but she truly cares for her students and how they make an effort inside and outside of class. You always have the opportunity to rework your paper for a B-grade.

I had Prof Angona for English 152 and World Lit 1. She's a soft spoken professor, but generally wants to help students. I took AP Eng in hs, and I didn't think her assigned essays/readings were unreasonable. Just go to the writing center if you need help. If you love English, do the work, and participate, it's easy to get an A

I hated this class, her essays were about ridiculous topics and had unrealistic standards. Over all long essays short deadlines lots of work and a very boring class.

Angona's grammar class is pretty boring, but as long as you do the work required, which consists of 5 exams, a paper, an oral presentation, and a final in-class writing assignment, getting an A is not difficult.

Professor Angona gives ALOT of work. At times, I feel as though she thinks students have no other classes besides hers. I also think that her deadlines for work (especially essays) are not realistic. Attendance is imperative in her class and if you miss class, be ready to be drilled about your whereabouts. I also think that she is not fair to the students that actually care about their grade; she is constantly babysitting those students that slack off. I would not take her again if I had to.

She's a solid professor. The workload is what you should expect from a college-level English class. Grades fairly. To the person who said she thinks she's smarter than her students--SHE IS. That's why she's the teacher and you're the student (at a CC, no less). Wrote me a nice letter of recommendation when I transferred to a real school.

She is ok, we did have sme funny class reading were the students read from a play, but the class work is very tedious. you will probably have HW every night, with the excepton of the few days we didn't have class. there are no tests, just writing assignements, and she is very picky with grammer. good luck

Average is a best word to describe her. Its a college level course taught by a grandmother who teaches it as if it were 3rd grade. Group/pair work is on a daily basis, so get comfortable around your classmates, especially if you enjoy other students reading and critiquing your work. She gives stupid hw responses that a child could get an A on.

Great Professor! She is kind, kind of like that grandmother figure. If you slack off and do nothing, and don't participate, then she won't work with you. She doesn't ask for much, a few essays, a few personal responses, some at home reading and participation is it. Don't have a problem participating? Take her, you will get along great!

She's okaaay I guess. She teaches the class like you are in 4th grade again with presentations and group work left and right. Very particular about attendance. She's "alright"

I was in her class last semester. I thought that she was pretty lenient. She's a fair grader, and she really challenges her students. My composition skills improved greatly because of her. If you work hard, she acknowledges your efforts and gives you a fair grade. Very technical, bordering on perfectionist when it comes to essay writing.

i thought she was a decent professor, was very clear with assignments and what she wanted out of them. a bit of a tough grader. changed the way she ran her class last semester, no quizzes, just 5 papers, a tough grader though. she wasn't a great professor but not one of the worst either

shes really not that bad. her voice can get irritating at times. grading is a bit tough, but i think she wants to challenge her students. she is a bit inconsiderate and intolerant to students and a bit of a witch. wouldnt recommend her
