Comment:

Very funny and intelligent man. Knows his stuff and aims to share his passion for history with his students by bringing some of his collective artifacts. One research paper, two exams (midterm & final). I suggest you take him but be sure to show up in class. Attendance saves you a big deal in grades.

I wish I had more professors like him. He's politically incorrect and not afraid of it. Classes are very simple. Take notes and you probably wont need to read. Paper is graded slightly harsh, but he does give points on your final grade if you did the EASY extra credit! Barely anyone in my class did. Pay attention, he's funny and a delight.

I took him for western civ I and II and he IS interesting but DOES play favorites and also is OFFENSIVE. Dont be afraid to challenge his "opinions" which he is convinced are absolutely correct but most of the time ppl are too afraid to speak up. Humorous teacher, interesting class, he gives good notes

He's a very sarcastic but funny professor. Some of his humor may be abrasive and crude, but he has good intentions. The material really isn't that hard-it's rehashing over things we've already learned. What makes his class harder are the tests-yes, they're open book, but you have to know all the small details. Grades the final paper rough.

He is a funny guy, but the class is SO HARD. One 5-7 page paper graded very rough. I busted my ass on that paper, and still got a C on it. The only thing that I like about him is that I failed both the impossible midterm and the hard final, but still somehow got a B-.

I thought he was great. Yea, he does give an open book midterm and final. And the term paper I got a B. His tests can be hard if you have not been following along in the book. But if you want to be entertained while learning history, plz take him. I loved him!!

Class is all lecture- midterm and final are both open book. 8pg paper due mid-semester. No homework. He's not politically correct so if you're easily offended, I wouldn't take him. Personally, I found him entertaining even though sometimes I had different views than him. His personality adds spice to what many would consider a boring subject!

expect a entire board full of notes when u walk in every class. Midterm, Term paper(6-8 pgs), Final, extra credit..only grades...entire class is him reading notes verbatim from board. not a great teacher, i dont really reccommend him. he tries to be funny...and that DAMN rutgers water bottle he cheers after drinking. he takes attendance
