Pros: Nice, kind, funny, encourages you to think for yourself and develop your opinions, approachable, enthusiastic and clearly well versed in what she teaches, and fair. My favorite teacher this year! Cons: The course is a little disorganized but if you pay attention to the syllabus and ask clarifying questions you'll be fine.

Sister Steiner is very sweet. And this is probably the English class i have learned the most in through all of my school career. Also the first research paper I've ever written. It was difficult but she really helped me to become better

Teacher is not clear, unorganized and we watch pointless Youtube videos in class. As for your research paper, stick to common topics or she wont understand and give you a poor grade. Horrible teacher, you won't learn much. I Wish I took this online.

She is very unorganized. I consider myself an "A" student, I received a B because she did not have a clear direction for what she wanted in our essays, she was also unclear when she wanted some of the busy work turned in. If it were me I would of taken this class from someone else, wish I would of.

Very unorganized, and hands out way too much busy work, for grades. She is all about length and not content. She is nice woman in general, but not so much as a teacher. It was rough just attending class.

I would definitely recommend taking her class! She's a little scatterbrained, but is always willing to answer questions and help out when needed. Plus she offers tons of extra credit. You can tell she loves what she does, and wants her students to take as much as they can from the class. Just do your work and you'll get an A.

Sister Steiner is the best teacher I have every had; she cares about you, and wants you to be successful. Take her classes. If you don't want to read, then don't take this class. The whole point of Children's Lit is to expose you to as much literature as possible so you can use it in your future classroom

I absolutely hated this class. She was an extremely rude person, and wasn't willing to help in any respect after class. She was very unorganized, and gave a ton of work that she didn't clarify when it was due. It seemed like she didn't care what grade the students, or that they even understood what was going on. I would not take from her EVER.

I loved reading children's books before I took this class. Now I don't even feel like picking one up. It's very time consuming. I spent about as much time or more on this class as I did when I took anatomy and physiology. I got sick of writing summaries on the books. Reading 68 books and writing a page summary on each was too much work.

She is an amazing person as an individual, however, her syllabus and i-learn resources need to be re-organized.Role playing is not emphasized enough.

What a horrible class! She assigns way too much work and doesn't explain why she takes off points on papers. I felt overwhelmed throughout the whole class.

Awesome lady! Wow she really wants you to be successful and really ties in the gospel. Unfortunately she is unorganized in Blackboard,so you may not be able to find some of her articles. The syllabus is also unorganized. Her specialty is more in British Lit.

Very nice, but very unclear and unorganized. I was never really sure what the assignment was even after she spent 10 minutes telling us. The class was a little irritating, but not hard to get an A. Just expect to be clueless half the time.

Very unprepared, very confusing, didn't feel like I got much from the course and then was forced to write a 2 page paper at the end reflecting on what I had learned even though I hadn't learned much. So I had to make it up. Didn't enjoy the class but got an A after I decided just to suffer through.

I really liked this class. Sis. Steinrs is good at leading group discussions and is very understanding of personal situations. Brings a lot of enthusiasm to her subject. As has been mentioned, she's kind of scatterbrained, but I found I didn't mind --- you'll enjoy it if you don't mind that the teacher's not going to babysit you.

worthless class. there was so much busy work. in class, she doesn't seem to know what she's talking about, makes no sense half the time and is completely unorganized. i love literature, but she'd be better suited to teach kindergarten.
