Real easy class. We had to do it online so all we had to do is the assigned reading and papers. No quizzes and the exams were papers. If you read and understand the topics the class should be easy

Dr. Frederick is one of the nicest ladies to walk this Earth. She cares about her students. The class is not too hard. 10 essays and map assignments, and 3 exams, and a take-home final. Reading the book will help, but if you don't like that then you can find helpful information online as well. She gives a study guide for each exam as well.

I thought I was going to hate this class because history is not my favorite, but she made it very enjoyable. Make sure you do the study guides because sometimes her lectures are hard to keep up with or don't always include specific details that you will need for the tests.

I took HIST 104 with her this past spring and I loved this class. She is so insightful and honest and makes history so interesting. Her lectures are like stories and with such a small class it was very personal. I hope that I am able to take another class with her. Highly recommend!!

She is by far my favorite professor at ULL. She's so sweet and takes into account that test grades aren't everything so she gives you little assignments to help cushion your grade if you bomb one of her exams. She bumped up my grade from a C to a B too! Love this woman and I'm gonna miss being in her class.

I really enjoyed Dr. Frederick's lectures. She kept the class entertained with her tales of the Incas and the Aztecs empires. The test were not tough, but she wanted to know a little more details about questions. If you have to take a History elective or Latin American history I fully recommend Dr. Frederick.

I took Dr. Frederick online through Arkansas Tech University. She was always very quick to answer emails, give wonderful feedback, and the course was smooth. The subject matter isn't too hard to understand as long as you do the reading assigned.

If you are in honors and have to take a history, take it with Dr. Fred. Her lectures were a little hard to follow at times (probably because I took her at 9:00 AM) but she spells out what will be on exams in her study guilds. Whether you are an honor student or not, there is no reason anyone should get less than a B+ in this class.

It's honors seminar. You show up. You pass. Only thing that sucks is you get CR on your transcript. No letter grade, no GPA boost. A credit space that could be used for something else wasted.

Dr. Fred is a great woman. Her class is a little boring if you take it early in the morning because everyone is pretty much asleep still and no one participates, but as is life. She grades leniently and is very helpful. Gives study guides. Lectures are very in-depth and helpful.

Good teacher. Essay exams, and she is very nit-picky. And of course there is a mundane paper due at the end of the semester. Recommended.
