I really liked him, but his lectures were not important to the rest of the course. He does do lecture reactions that are participation based. The papers were really clear on what they want and he gives a rubric, but the grading mostly depends on your TA. The book has online quizzes, but all the answers on quizlet and you can work ahead.

This class mainly consists of 3 papers and a final paper. Attendance is taken but you do not have to pay attention during lecture to write the paper. There was also online quizzes within the textbook every week but they are super easy and you do not have to do the reading. Your grade will really depend on your TA and how they grade your papers.

Gaddie is a good professor, although the discussion portion of this class is pointless, dumb projects and assignments. Gaddies lecture is really good and he makes class interesting.

This class was very simple. No exams, just four papers. Quizzes online that have the required readings with them so it is very easy to make good grades. Your discussion has podcasts assignments that weren't difficult. He takes attendance most days but he is good at giving lectures so it isn't bad at all.

There are no exams, only four essays, so you don't really need to study for a "test". They take attendance through lecture reactions, which are for a grade. The lectures are very boring. The lab section has three podcast related assignments. As long as you do the book work, the essays, the lecture reactions, and the lab assignments, it's an easy A.

Dr. Gaddie brings architecture into politics. He challenges you to think about building your political empire with a solid foundation and designs. Taking the works of Lynch and the Alexander pattern of 7, your mind is challenged to think critically. You'll feel stressed during the course, but do the assignments, your mind and GPA will be awarded.

Honestly, you could go to class once a week or maybe not at all and still get an A. Read the textbook and do the homework and you're set. The tests are all essay questions and the final is optional. Only 1 paper and presentation. If you aren't paying attention in lecture he gets upset but it was hard not to zone out, lecture was boring.

Dr. Gaddie is very intelligent, however he gets frustrated when he feels that no one is paying attention to him in class. If you read the textbook, do the homework. do the study guides before the test, and do all your lab assignments, this class is an easy A.

Dr. Gaddie is extremely knowledgeable about what he teaches, and is very approachable and nice if you talk to him outside class. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he does take it into consideration if your grade is borderline. The tests are all essay and short answer, and there was online homework and online textbook (which he wrote)

Annoying online textbook quizzes, but if you read the chapters in the textbook you can easily get an A. His study guides are exactly what is on the test. Very easy A without ever going to class.

If you've watched HBO's "The Newsroom", then you already know how Dr. Gaddie is. The first lecture I realized he looks, sounds, and lectures like Will McAvoy. Dr. Gaddie is actually hilarious and really great. He has an astounding knowledge of what he teaches, and doesn't do test. He also keeps his lectures relevant to modern US politics.

Dr. Gaddie knows his stuff. He visited our school for a January term and did a great job teaching the subject. His class required some thinking, but when was thinking ever a bad thing. He has tons of energy, you get out what you put in.

It is pretty much required to go to every class near the end of the semester because you can not write the final paper without having the knowledge of the lectures. All your work will be graded from showing up to lectures and papers. Your lab TA will most likely grade your paper so show up to lab and try to participate (get involvedbetter grade).

Keith Gaddie initially comes off as a mix between a 19th Century Southern Preacher and a senior White House aid. He's passionate about his craft, and is not afraid to show that he knows more about the subject than you do, however he's fully open to debate but be prepared to actually back up your point with facts as he doesn't tolerate punditry.

No tests in the class, all papers. Gaddie can be confusing in his lectures but is a very smart man. Attendance not required but a participation grade is taken in class.

The class did not have any exams, required you to show up once a week for two hours to earn free attendance credit so if you do not write papers well there's always the attendance points to buffer it. The labs are interesting depending on the TA,no tests just exams, overall, easy to pass if you just show up and would rather write an essay than test.

Comment:
Dr Gaddie is a very annoying man. He goes on tangents a lot, he is very derogatory if you don't agree with his opinion on something, but he wants you involved in class. He screamed at some students that weren't paying attention one day. Papers that he wants you to write are very hard and the rubric was worthless. He also is never in office hours.
