This professor has a very tough way of teaching; others enjoyed it and others walked out of that classroom with a headache and no hope in even passing the class. She did offer mutiple opportunities for extra credit. She has a very sarcastic attitude at times which made students not even want to ask questions because of her responses.

I never like math, until I had Prof. Ting. She helped me how to learn and understand math. She help you when you are asking for help. She explain a way that you can understand the problem. She give extra credit or make you re-do the test to improve your grade. If you want to learn math take her and you will not disappoint, if you want to learn.

Ms. Ting is very caring and understanding about being a student. She helped you anyway she can to make sure that you are learning. She give extra credit to improve your grade, but you need to do your work. You can not depend on the attendance not like high school. I took 3 different classes with her and learned a lot.

I took four classes with Ms. Ting from Math 520,410,425, and 25. She a great instructor. She cares about you and make sure you learned and understand the materials. She answers your questions if you ask for help. She give you extra credit to help your grade and sometimes she ask you to redo the exam to improve the grade.

Prof. Ting very caring person. You must do your part and she help you. She know everyone do the best of their ability. I took this professor 2 times, she is awesome. She gave us extra credit and quizzed every other day. She scares you, because she wants you to understand that if you will go on take math later, especially if you picked stem major, you should be disciplined and be able to study on your own. She seems strict, but deep inside she wants you to succeed.

Ms. Ting is very caring. You need to do your part and ask her questions, she will help you. She give you extra credit and she know if you do your homework or not. If you do not do your homework you will not pass her class. She cover the materials related to the homework she assign. You study you pass her class, no doubt. She is a good teacher.

Worst professor ever. Very rude back if you speak up for yourself. I confronted her about my test on why she deducted so many points and she responded by saying that I didnt do it her way and you must show complete full work for full credit. This professor is something, beware.

Save yourself the headache & do not take. I would hide my tears walking into this class. If you arent the strongest in math then you should NOT take her at all. Super tough teacher, she expects you to know the information already so she basically just reviews for the entire class. Theres no homework, 4 tests and a quiz almost every week. Trust Me.

I'm not gonna say she is a bad professor because she is very knowledgeable . But I will say she excepts you to know the material yourself and in class she just likes to review it with you. She does not assign homework for credit and she gives a quiz once a week on material you study by yourself. So if you cant teach yourself math don't take class.

She is not a soft professor and yes she likes discipline her students. Ask her question, she asks you question back and there is nothing to be upset about, because if you are truly trying to study she will know it and help you, she wants you to succeed. She gives extra credit, but grades 5 exams hard. Do homework and you will pass. Math is not easy

She can be tough, I feel like a lot of people are intimated by her. But she really is a good teacher. She teaches in a way so you can understand how to solve the problem. NO PHONES allowed in class which is good because lets be honest our phones are a big distraction. She is very blunt so don't try to smart talk to her.
