Good Guy. Slow talker. Monotone voice and lectures are heavy enough to make you drowsy. Doesn't allow students to really engage. He just kinda talks for 3 hours. Not my cup of tea.

Show up to class, pay attention and you will pass! Very clear when he lectures and makes information as easy as possible. Ask as many questions as you can! he will answer all of them with a great explanation. I will definitely recommend him and will take him again for sure!!

He would've been a really great guy if I didn't have his class at 7:30. He has a very monotoned voice that made me want to fall asleep, other than that, very simple teaching! He cracks jokes that no one laughs at, but that's because class was early. Very straightforward and I got a 100 on the first midterm.

Best math professor by far and I've had to take like 3 perquisite classes prior. He's a very laid back guy, keeps the math simple, doesn't pull tricks on you in any way. Homework was optional, best part of the course. 4 quizzes, 2 midterms and a final. He reviews for all of them and gives you the exact problems with numbers changed.

Ballard keep math very basic. he doesnt get tricky on the test, but lecturess can sometimes be dull. six quizzes...drops three. this is not a hard class to pass at all if its your last math class and you dont really need to learn the math for other courses take him. and he lets you bring a sheet of notes on exams

well, aside from the fact he does little to nothing to stop distracting noises from other students, Prof. Ballard is a very easy-going teacher, assigning easy quizzes, w/ 2 easy mid terms and an easier final. No hw is due, but it is assigned to aid for understanding the tests. Easy for a Math 25 class. Take him if you just want to pass Math 25

Professor Ballard is a fabulous math teacher. Everything is organized and in order. He makes learning math easy and enjoyable, he goes slow which sometimes can be a bit of a drag but he is just very caring and wants all his students to understand. quizes, midterms, and finals are always easy because he prepares you so much. absolutely take him!

Hes a monotone slow talker but he's still a great teacher! he does a lot of examples until hes sure everyone understands.The only thing that bugs me is that if students are being loud/disrespectful he does nothing about it which can be distracting.Hes great at teaching the material though!

THIS GUY IS THE BEST, IF YOU JUST WANT TO PASS THIS CLASS TAKE HIM, HE GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP ALL THAT CANT UNDERSTAND, EASY TESTS, ALLOWS ONE FULL PAGE FRONT AND BACK OF NOTES FOR MID TERMS HE SPLIT INTO 2/ NOTES FOR THE FINAL TOO. As a returning older student having to take math this professor made Math more enjoyable. He is kind and considerate easy going and treats everyone fair including the (hard heads). I would recommend this professor to anyone...FYI just complete your work and don?t wait to the last minute to complete your lab courses.
