Comment:

I took Rahim Fall 2018 and he made the semester MISERABLE. His bad attitude seriously needs to change;he is just as grumpy as his students. He is so overworked all of that tension is released at his students and its not fun. In my opinion, he just needs to relax and retire. The ONLY good thing about him, is that his solution methods are simple.

I took him over summer and I actually loved his class. He can be intimidating. Keeps you super busy that the semester goes by super fast. Like his full detailed lectures and that once class is over lectures were posted online which you can go back to. LOTS OF HOMEWORK (no biggy for me)But ABSOLUTELY DONT BE LATE, LEAVE EARLY OR MISS CLASS!

This professor rudeness on a scale 1-10 is an 11. DLA extra credit but doesnt help one bit, overall grade is reflected on how well you do on tests. Projects Are pointless they dont improve grade whatsoever. Attendance is mandatory or you will be dropped. Gender bias sort of & fast pace long lectures.

To be honest, he is a great math teacher who has very clear lectures. However, he can be very temperamental and overly caring to the point where it almost seems excessive. He gets very upset if you leave class early, and threatened to drop me from the class for trying to leave early. Not a super nice guy overall. Take him at your own risk.

Took this class on a Sat. Gives quizzes to make sure you stay in class and show up on time. He is great at teaching math very clear , but he can not expect everybody to be a math whiz everybody works at different pace. Does not have sympathy for students. I would take again if I could devote my entire time to just math but kids, jobs, other classes

I took his class this fall and it was a Saturday class. From the start he made it clear that skipping class would hurt your grade and also being on time is very important. His lectures are very clear, we did not use the textbook at all. He assigns HW online and they are worksheets you need to print out and turn in.

This class was definitely time consuming. There is a lot of hw. You basically cannot miss the first 6 weeks of class because that is the only weeks he gives quizzes for the entire semester and if you miss, quizzes are worth ten percent of your grade. Altogether though, he is a informative teacher and definitely is helpful in understanding stats

Not a very understanding guy, strict for no reason. Talks about being Mr. Eco friendly, but has you print out at least 20 pages per week some weeks more. No one asks question because he makes it uncomfortable. Assigns word problems every week just because he likes to torment people

Super cool guy, DO NOT BE LATE, he IS intimidating but with reason, DO NOT SLACK OFF ON HOMEWORK! He loves his job enough to give challenging questions so don't expect to breeze by exams. Try averaging a B on exams and you will be good.

Overall, he's a great teacher. If you do not get Math or dislike it, I don't recommend taking his class. He is very helpful to students who get it or at least show interest. But if you're looking to slack off, this is not the class for you.

To be honest he is a good instruct very clear when he is instructing. His attitude is horrible and I do not recommend him unless you have to sit in the class & ask as few questions as possible. He feels as if you are arguing when you keep questioning him and gets very frustrated easily. Treats his students lower than what their true abilities are.

This professor is very rude, and impatient. He will ask if anyone has questions, and then when you do, he refuses to answer them. He will then break out into a rant that will put the class down. He is the worst professor I have ever had, and he nearly pushed me into not continuing on with school, he was that bad. Take him at your own risk.

Mr Rahim is 1 of the best. Explains very clearly. Quizzes are easy. Online quizzes & online tests can be attempted several times. At times jokes around & might get slightly irritated if your questions reveal u haven't been doing h.w. or attending class. He also answers questions after class. To succeed: do the h.w., pay attention & ask valid q's.

Took Rahim two times, once fro 510 once for 410. He was great at one time, but I noticed a change in him the second time I took him. He went from being very helpful and patient to very rude. He would slam his fists on the table and used profanity toward the class. Could be a really great teacher, but might have some personal problems that interfere

Professor Faradineh is so helpful. You must attend class, or you will get behind, but he will help you if you ask for it. The class is fast paced at times, but stay on top of online homework, and make good use of the website step by step help and you'll do just fine. Great teacher.

Good instructor. The negative comments come from the students that aren't making it and want to blame someone else. Makes you work hard which is helpful later. You have to act like the adult that you are.

Rahim is a decent prof. He's kinda moody, but I don't blame him. Many students would complain and ask the most asinine questions. I'd get tired of it too. The Blue Book's helped a lot. Do them and you should be able to pass easily. I recommend.
