This was my third Michelson class I have taken. I loved this class, through this I have a greater knowledge of the prophets and the OT. This course has helped me greatly in my understanding of the prophets, who were new to me when I began this course. I engage the prophets more now than ever. Everyone should take this course.

Through the help of Dr. Michelson, I now understand the role and mission of the prophets in new a light. As I am not a theology major, I was nervous about the 4000 level class. But Dr. Michelson explained the material in a humble, patient, and knowledgable manner that I could follow. Few teachers embody these attributes better than Dr. Michelson.

With a title that includes "Pentateuchal" - didn't sound inviting. Michelson made it great. A reasonable amount of reading and assignments. Lecture connection most stands out. He connected themes in Genesis and Exodus across the the Bible as a kind of imprint for the entire Canon. I'll never read the Bible the same. It all connects!

I had to take this required class. I learned a lot as Michelson reinforced key issues in his lectures that connected stories together. Textbook was dull. What he says in class shows up on essay exams every time.

Summer Online Bible class! Should have been boring - but proved interesting. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast Michelson was at replying to emails/discussion. His lectures were clear - and he used other good content. For a class I was dreading, I enjoyed it and have been in touch with Michelson since the class ended. A really nice guy.
