Easily the worst professor I have ever had. Thought maybe after taking US Healthcare I would understand her more in Pharmacoeconomics, absolutely not. She doesn't care to ACTUALLY teach just to make sure she proves a point that we aren't paying attention. Disrespectful to students. I have no idea why MCPHS keeps her employed.

Dont understand what all the fuss is about for her class. Her exams are based exactly from the lecture notes and what she says in class. I did not open the text book once and I didnt get below a 90 on any exam. Listen to her words during class many questions are based on her actual words. Didnt listen? watch her lecture recordings..

Comment:

Looking at the complaints made me laugh. Yes, her class is difficult, yes, you need to read, yes, you need to study and keep up. This is an accelerated doctorate program, not a remedial high school class. Don't blame the professor and expect everything to be spoon-fed to you. This is pharmacy school, obviously you need to know health care well.

Comment:

A LOT of material covered during the half semester with her. Need to know everything. To be fair, it's an accelerated professional doctorate program and she didn't invent the health care system nor did she divide the course into two sections, so it's not her fault that there's a lot to cover. Do the work and don't complain. I learned a ton.

What a TERRIBLE professor! She has the worst personality of anyone I have ever met. If you ask her a question she will talk down to you and accuse you of not reading the book. This is a useless class anyway, but having her teach it makes it unbearable. I can't believe MCPHS still gives her a job!

Unprofessional. Lectures were totally useless. She has no oratorical skills. Makes tons on grammar mistakes in plain English, alters facts making up exams. Refuses to answer students' questions, cant admit her own mistakes. Ask her something off the book, you wont get an answer, she's undereducated. really unpleasant personality. konchenaya dura!

Was very straightforward in her teaching methods and expectations. The students complaining the most about her were those that did not attend class. Do your readings before class and you will do fine. She does not like questions that could have been answered if you had done the assigned material.

After 12 out of 25 years of teaching, she doesnt know how to teach. not responsive, nor helping the students to understand the subject, she just imposes a great volume of 2 HC books on students to read word by word and give it in the same on exams! her wordings in her testings add to all her unclear wils! I wonder why MCPHS still emphasizes on her!

Not very helpful when you ask her a question. She simply talks down to you and says you didn't read the book good enough. Not sure what's the point of her asking any questions when SHE HATES QUESTIONS! Also, half the time, she doesn't understand what you're asking her even if it's in simple plain english.

The worst professor in my entire life!!! AFter going to school for so many years, when i thought professors can't get worse than what i have seen so far, Lahoz surprised me to no end. The worst professor who tries to bring everything under the sun into her class, and force students to forget learning, but become machines that soak up her non-sense!

She's horrible. Forget going to class b/c she's worthless since she doesn't actually teach. She's the type of prof that should teach at a large public institution that can care less about teaching and care only about research b/c she hates answering your questions. Just read the books and URLs several times!
