Professor Glasner is the man. His daily quizzes made keeping up with the material easy and his online notes are extremely helpful. If I had taken the class with any other professor, I probably would have gotten a C, but since I had P. Glasner, I got an A. Take him without question.

The daily quizzes can get annoying, but that is his way of over-preparing you for the exams. The point of them is to make sure that you are keeping up with the subject, because you can't cram it all in in one night. He can be difficult to understand at times, but if you do your work and don't whine, this class will be fine for you.

This teacher IS difficult, but that is because the class material is hard, not the teacher. He has a quiz every day (which as a result, very little studying needed for the exam). His quizes are meant as a self-check to see how well you understand the material, not to make someone feel stupid or lower their grades.

Not very helpful when it comes to personal assistance. Dropped almost 60% of daily quizzes which gave mostly everyone a perfect out of 100 points. Lectures can seem a bit scattered but eventually everything works out. I would take a class tought by him again.

Although sometimes unconventional ("There ain't no such thing as ___" and writing with his left hand while erasing with his right) moses is gonna be close to as good as it gets with diff eqs. The quizzes and exams follow his examples in class to a T. Not the easiest of subject matter makes for headaches, but it "ain't" moses' fault.

Very condescending towards students. I thought it was the class that was hard but I'm retaking it with a grad student and he makes the class seem so simple and easy. Glasner will ignore questions, gives his own tests which are impossible and his review sessions don't help at all. Daily quizzes wouldn't have been bad if he gave you more than 2 min.

His reputation is horrible and his teaching skills questionable. He gives quizzes every day and has horrible reviews. That being said, I am now realizing what a GOOD teacher he was. He makes you do work every night, he answers all questions the next day, he posts examples on his webpage, and he counts like 12 quizzes. Made me a better student.

The quizes really mess with your head at times, but there's no need to worry because an incredible amount of them are dropped at the end of the semester. I think Dr. Glasner's review for the Final made the entire class worth while. But don't kid yourself, Differential Equations is a hard subject and he's probably the best professor teaching it.

Horrible professor. Incredibly condescending towards students who have difficulty with the subjects and lessons being taught. Clearly he thinks highly of himself, and it shows in his grading and lecturing. If you value your gpa and your integrity, do not take his courses!

Professor Glasner was an odd instructor to say the least, a bit intimidating at times. However, the daily quizes were great because it forced you to learn the material, slackers like myself would have failed otherwise.

I thought I was going to get a B- in the class but ended up with a B+. Diff EQ is a tough class in general so you definitely have to put forth a lot of work, if you're not willing, don't take this class. His grade cutoffs for letter grades are lower than other profs, so that's an incentive to take him. To help Buy a Schaum's Outline, it helpec me.

Horrendous professor. The worst part about this guy is that he makes mistakes on essentially every single lecture and FAQ solution, tells us not to use the book, but expects us to accept when he takes off half credit for missing one facet of the answer yet providing the correct work. Moreover, one of the most condescending teachers I've ever met

Daily Quizes are killers and wear down on you. Moses even claims the book is useless, but yet the same book has been used for the past 6 semesters. Really tough class, seems like no matter what you do, you can't get the correct answers. Every time you do a problem the way you solve the problem changes, and it's never the way taught. F-----------

Moses is a terrible professor. He is condescending toward students and teaches things his own way. he is not good enough of a professor to completely ignore the book. If his lectures aren't good enough, you are completely lost with the book, which means you have no supplementary material. He also wrote the exams, which were wayyyyy too long.

Daily quizzes, while sometimes annoying, really helped me keep up with the material. Surviving the work in his class makes exams a breeze. If you're confused, his office hours are helpful; be prepared to be forceful with your questions, though, because sometimes he just gets mad and says to check the Java applet on the website. Interesting class!
