I liked her as a person, and it's clear that she likes what she does, but I don't think I really learned very much in her class. I did the majority of the work directly from the textbook and I'm pretty sure I failed the class and will have to retake it. Though I'm taking her at Drexel, where we only have 10 weeks to learn what most places have 16..

I LOVE Olga! She's pretty eccentric, which is why a lot of people didn't like her. I like her as a person, but she suffers from the "curse of knowledge," and is kind of all over the place with teaching. But as long as you ask questions and make it clear you want to do well, she will be willing to help you do so.

she takes attendance, but if you dont feel like goin, take the class off. i had to have skipped 7-8 classes. And shes pretty much usless as a teacher. i learned all the material the day before the test via the reviews because she blows at teaching. Overall, the book was my best friend and if you cant teach yourself the material, find someone else.

Wow...all of you people who say that this professor can't speak English should look at the spelling and grammar in your ratings! Also, she does have an accent but it's not hard to understand--kind of the stereotypical German/ Russian accent. She is passionate about math and really cares about her students' success. Don't blame her for your low IQ.

easy prof, really great person with humor, she loves math and wants you to love it. If you aren't interested don't take her, she gives you as much energy as you give her, if you dont try she wont help you, but if you ask questions and dont mind staying for help, if you need it after she ends class, always ends early, you will do extremely well.

I did not have to take the class and now I am sad that I did. She was a horrible professor with a heavy accent and she is unwilling to help if you do not understand and will not stop for anything. Be prepared to learn on your own with this person.

She's a horrible, horrible teacher. On top of her thick Russian accent she could give a crap if anyone in the class understands what's going on. She always asks "is that clear?" as a rhetorical question, she gets really mad if you ask her a question. She also treats students like first graders.
