He doesn't give feed back on his exams at all. The way he teaches ecology, you're basically taking a history class. Be prepared to memorizes the names of scientists who you won't find in history books cause their ideas were false. No really, he'll ask you a lot of useless info on exams i.e. "What country did some ecologist in 1920 vacatione in?"

He is clearly knowledgeable and has a passion for Ecology. However he is incredibly condescending and rude towards his student, especially when you ask him a question. Expects answers like "I will let you find that out yourself." No clear grading criteria when it comes to quizzes and assignments. Most of the class was lost 90% of the time.

Worst class and teacher Ive ever had. No clear grading. Youll never get your grades back. No clear guidelines on anything, youre basically on your own. He FORCES you to be on cam during lab. He rambled on and on about himself & his escapades. Didnt learn a single thing from this class. I hated it the whole semester and got depression from it.

Did a poor job teaching us in lab and was disappointed when the entire class did not do well on the midterm. Each class period feels like it takes forever. If you can take the lab with any other professor please do!!!

He doesn't post online, so you have to go to lecture. Barely anything on the slides, so pay attention to what he's saying. It can be hard sometimes since he mumbles, talks fast, and sometimes goes on tangents. He's unclear, but he's condescending toward students who ask questions or go to him during office hours. Passable, but not recommended.

Lectures are all over the place. Exams are pretty specific and difficult. Not very approachable.. The class is graded on a couple exams and a final group project.

Not the best professor. Was not very helpful and is super unapproachable. You can't ask him a question without feeling dumb afterwards. Take class with someone else if you can.

He has a passion for ecology. However, when you have a question or want some feedback he can be arrogant. He won't let you get a word in. Labs are easy. Lecture is vague. Lots of pictures but no content to write down, so make sure you write down everything he is saying.

I do not recommend this professor. No multiple choice AT ALL. Even if you get the answer correct he will dock you for lack of detail. Study guides are nothing like the exams. I worked hard in his class, but he makes the exams extremely obscure and the lecture slides are just pictures. Bio 10 should not have been this complicated.

3 group journals and 3 exams but he dropped our final exam because a lot of students weren't doing good. Exams are matching and short answers, sounds harder than it is but his study guide is extremely thorough. I won't recommend people take him because of his style eventhough i am doing very well in it. Gives a generous curve 85% and up is an A

he incorporated a lot of pictures into his lectures which didn't really help. you have to work really hard to understand what he's trying because that's what a majority of his quizzes and exams are based on. he gave sample questions but they were nothing compared to what was on the quizzes and exams. 3 quizzes and 3 exams

lectures had a lot of pictures, no specific notes you had to copy down, so it was all based on what came out of his mouth. Quiz and Test scores for the entire class were horrible. Expect LOW grades on tests/quizzes.

Fun professor for parasitology. You literally need to know EVERYTHING, especially little things he says in lecture. It's all fair game. Lab exams were extremely hard, but he makes a huge curve. I averaged 5060 on lecture, 25-3040 on lab, which curved to an A-. If I showed up to class more (for his tidbitsnon-book examples) I'd have an A.

DONT TAKE HIM. He is AWFUL. If you ask him questions he says, "Ill leave it as a mystery.. you figure it out". He does not show you HOW to do a problem. You will do mostly R stuff. Group project at the end- he will stop everyone mid way and yell at each group for what they did wrong. His lectures portray conflicting answers.

Clearly passionate about parasites. I like hearing about the interesting stories he would tell that's related to the class. Everything you need to know for the lecture exam is in the lab manual, so don't buy the book. Google pics. Whatever he talks about in lecture will most likely be on the exam, even if it sounds like he's going off on a tangent.

Easy going. Loves what he teaches. Very open for helping students. Lectures not mandatory but labs are. Lecs & exams are right from lab manual. Provides previous tests for students which are quite similar. Most difficult were lab tests but very easy to pass if you really study and make flashcards. Awesome professor.
