Took his class online during COVID. 10 easy quizzes based on textbook that arent due till the end of the semester, 5 discussions with plenty of time to complete, and 2 papers- midterm & final. Overall a very easy class if you just need the credits but dont except to learn much.

Doesn't answer your emails what so ever. You can be going through a crisis he won't care well it seems like that because he won't answer you. Class is easy though as long as you do your main assignments. But the professor is not helpful at all.

Great Professor! I had him for His111 wb, here is what you need to know! Don't buy the textbook- the course mainly consists of discussions that you can finesse using different resources ,quizzes have no solid due date just get them done. I have a quizlet with every question from day 1 to final. Don't mess up the site visit! Always email great guy

I took HIS 111 and HIS 112 with Dr. Dolce. He is very clear on what he expects which are quizzes, discussion, mid test, final and a site visit report. Not difficult if you read, study for tests and make the site visit assignment fun!

His class included 5 Discussions throughout the semester, very engaging. Midterm & Final were based on the quizzes (quizlet and you're good). Site Visit Report(you visit a historical site you chose and write a paper about it) is one of the best assignments and enhances the learning experience. Overall, not a hard class, fun, and you learn as well.

There are online quizzes on every chapter that is covered (you get 5 attempts), one site visit paper, 5 online discussions, and a midterm and final. He encourages his students to put in great effort and use their full potential. Remain active in the group discussions! I never met him but he's a really good professor.

This class is not hard at all easy a I might add. You have sixteen quizzes (quizlet is your fav website for them) the test are literally the quiz questions. The test you take on campus. The site report is at least 5 pages, 2 out of the 5 is your experience. The discussions are easy at least respond 4 times and you're good. Easy A and great prof.

START YOUR SITE REPORT ASAP! Easy quizzes (quizlet is your bff) Exams come straight from quizzes. You have to take midterm and final on campus. You have to participate in discussions, stay involved. Follow directions to a tee for Site report. Solid professor. I passed every exam & quiz with A's failed the site report miserably. My own fault.

This is my second semester in his class and if I could, I'd take him forever. He's one of the best professors I've had. He's always there when you have a question and gives great feedback. As long as you participate, you should do well. There's weekly open-book quizzes, 2 tests at the testing center and a site visit report. Overall, I LOVE HIM!!!

This course is just impossible. If you take online courses out of necessity, avoid this class at all costs. There is a site visit report (which is just completely unnecessary, might I add), in addition to proctored exams. 16 quizzes. 5 discussions which require extensive reading and are paper length. Prof. is unorganized & unreasonable.

Would definitely recommend taking his class especially if you're not that great in history. Keep up with the quizzes, use them as study guides and you'll be set for the exams. Barely used the textbook. There's a site visit report but if you put in the effort you'll get an A. Not that interesting but, again, easy A.

Very good course. Every chapter has an open book quiz you can keep retaking to get an A. The midterm and final are made of quiz questions so do the quizzes, study the questions and you should have easy A's on mid and final. Site visit is a little intensive, but easy grader. Discussions are big, he really cares so participate!! Overall great class

I found no interest in this online class. Professor takes forever to respond to emails. The discussions you have to put effort. But the quizzes are easy you could retake up to 5 times to get that 100%. A one 5 page site visit paper. Mid term & Final are based on the quizzes very easy just memorize those. I got an easy A on them!!!

NO, NO, NO. This professor is horrible, im sorry to say. Not worth it for the money. He has us discuss things in chapter 30 when we are reading and quizzing on chapter 25. NOT cohesive, unorganized, more work than usual for an online class. ALSO, dont try to email him about your questions; he wont answer.

BUT STILL FAILED. I than emailed him to break it down for me because i was confussed. he never responded. Maybe because it was ONE day after the semester..
