If you're going to take German, take Dr Burt if you can! He puts in a lot of effort into teaching and finding ways to make learning a foreign language easier for his students. He's very laidback and understanding as well, and is only an email away if you need help. Attendance is not required but if you don't go, you will be lost. Plus, class is fun

Dr. Burt is great. He's clear about what he's teaching and tries to make it as easy as possible. I took Dr. Burt because I did not want to take Dr. Trokhimenko and I'm glad I did. His tests are easy and he's enthusiastic about teaching. Sometimes he can even make me laugh.

Dr. Burt is the kind of teacher who could teach anything and it would be fun to learn. He's great at organizing class and explaining what you need to know, he's understanding and laid back, and he's a really interesting person as well. I would recommend any classes he teaches, he's the best teacher I've ever had!

Dr. Burt is one of my favorite professors ever! I remember one day he turned on Mein Herz Brennt while passing back papers...one word...AWESOME! Almost every day is a vocab quiz but they are very easy and offers a lot of extra credit. The class b4 a test, he gives a practice test nearly the same as the actual test. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Dr. Burt is awesome. Learning a foreign language is difficult, but with Dr. Burt it was a piece of cake. He enjoys talking about Germans and their drinking problems. That was roughly what half of our discussions were about. Take this class if you want an easy language.

I didn't want to take this class but I'm glad I did. He is a great teacher. Quizzes every day on reading but they are insanely simple as long as you read. Two tests, make sure he gives you an example test to study from.

I had him for German Literature. I didn't have any interest in the class because i got stuck with it, but he was a really good teacher. Very nice and smart, his tests can be a little hard but whose arent? Sweet guy
