The most horrible professor I have ever taken, all throughout undergraduate and masters level programs. I am currently a successful nurse and have taken many tough courses. Also hold a BS in Chem this guy is terrible, Shouldn't be allowed to teach. A big ZERO FROM ME

If you want fairness dont take him,. He teaches for graduate level. Feels he knows all, suck at giving explanations, loves to do literature instead of maths. Not compassionate at all. Full of himself. Dont know how to elevate students. Worst professor ever.

This Professor talks about himself far more than he teaches the class. He has a high IQ and he never neglects to mention it. He expects you to understand the material. He does not really like when student ask question, especially! telling him, that they do not understanding!

Glad I took Prof Thomas for Cal 1, he is very methodical, explains thoroughly and helped me understand Cal better. take him if you want to understand and pass Cal, don't take him if you just wanna pass. His enthusiasm for the subject spreads throughout the class and that kinda make it fun for me.

Doesn't show up to class but expects you to understand everything. He's a nice man but that's where it begins and ends. If you need to pass you may want to consider a different professor.

If this is a free class coupled with this professor I suggest you run! Or wait for the other semester when it is being offered. This is 4 cr meets 3 days per week, however, the professor spends more time on trips and sends adjunct to cover his class, when he does attend class teaches one thing, gives exam on something from English text.RUN!!!!

I do not like this professor at all when it comes to teaching. He is real genuine when it comes to your personal dilemmas, but when he teaches you, the subject isnt math... it's him. All Raymond does is talk about himself. If you want this professor, make sure you purchase the math book, and teach yourself. He isn't.

Professor R. Thomas is extremely brilliant. He's one of those heavily smart professor that you're left amazed that he's actually teaching an undergraduate. He's so good. Will definitely keep in contact with him when I head to Grad school.

I suggest that only students who have a good grasp of Mathematics should take this professor. My experience was that his classroom lectures are way different than his test. You pass class examinations, but when you take his Mid-Term or Final you are destined to FAIL.

he is the worst professor, just because he taught himself calculus at age 14, he expects the rest of the world to understands it. He failed the majority of my class and many others. He may seem nices but he is evil, your better off with blackman. DO NOT TAKE THOMAS IF YOU WANT TO PASS CALCULUS
