Dr.Stratton thinks he is gr8 bc he allows the students 2 direct class & ask Q's a lot. Problem is, he doesn't give u a strong enuf base 2 ask good Q's. So when ppl ask Q's their Q mayb in the wrong direction.I spent a week studying for a test (6 hours most days and 10 the day before) i got a 74% on the test bc he doesn't giv u a clue what to study.

Awful teacher!! He gets way too mad when students ask questions for help. He expects you to understand everything right away and gets frustrated when you don't. He expects way too much for an intro class. He writes things on the board wrong and expects the students to catch it and correct it, even though we're being taught it for the first time.

This guy is one of the three worst teachers I've ever had, and that's saying something. Definitely expects way too much from students, his tests are insanely difficult. His lectures are disjointed, and it's hard to tell what is important. This guy should lose his job.

When grading tests it's either hit or miss. The highest grade in my class was an 85% and that?s including the bonus. At times I felt I learned a lot while others I felt worse off. If you take this course you will be challenged.

Dr Stratton is unbelievable. He expects way too much from an intro course, he is horribly unclear in what he wants, his lectures are full of jargon an intro class wouldnt understand, and everything must be done EXACTLY his way. Avoid **** at all costs.

I hate how he grades the tests. I will get the multiple choice nearly all correct but he seems to have a lot of hidden criteria for the short answer section, leaving me a near zero there. I feel like I am unlearning everything I already know about microeconomics in class. I just stopped going all together except to turn in homework and take tests.

Mr.Stratton is in my a opinion a very good teacher. However when it comes to grading his expectations for my class a general Macroeconomics course were probably a bit high. The course itself is extremely difficult but he really challenges and gives out TONS of extra credit to people who attend class everyday. I learned a ton from his class

This guy is ridiulous! He knows what he's talking about but, he expects you to catch on to what he's saying right away. His essays suck and the tests are rather difficult. He flies through the notes and thinks he's hilarious but he's really just a doofus.

Quite possibly one of the worst professors I've ever had. He basically tells you to figure it out on your own, and to come to class with questions, so when nobody understands the material, they all just flounder. Tests are rediculous(CBT). After working very hard on an essay, he returned it to me with demeaning and insulting remarks. STAY AWAY.

You can tell he doesn't get out of the department much. However, he's very chipper about Labor Economics, so you can be sure you're not dealing with an idiot.

Grading rubric is trash. Essay topics he gives relate to nothing he teaches in class or what is read in the textbook. He doesn't grade the work he gives; he has someone else do it. many questions on homework and tests have multiple right answers and you must choose the #1 right answer for credit.

sometimes hard to tell what he wants on his tests. makes you really work for your grade. his lectures don't really clarify much so you will have to set asside a lot of time to learn the material on your own. avoid this guy if you can

F- I'd rather have George Bush (Sr. or Jr.) for a teacher, both could probably convey the message better than this guy!
