The best prof in the Econ dept; probably the best at UMKC. People who say she's "too hard" are simply not putting forth the effort the class deserves. She's challenging, in a good way. You'll get out of the class as much as you put into it. She's the most hard-working prof I've ever met, and will do anything to help if you put forth the effort.

Had her for both macro classes. Very straightforward lectures, but does require you to work. Plenty of exposure to Keynes. Influenced me to change my major to Economics.

It was a very difficult course. I'm a med student who had a hard time in the course & got a C. People who slack off probably would get a D.

She has extensive knowledge of economics; makes great use of her personal website for student resources, including extra credit opportunities; happy to help outside of class; BUT lectures can be confusing and she can be intimidating when asking questions.
