I would have never enrolled into this class, but unfortunately its a requirement and she was the only professor available. She is very unwelcoming and doesnt expect for you to take any other classes due to the amount of homework she gives. If only, there were another Professor available for this class. DO NOT RECOMMEND. AVOID IF POSSIBLE.

Avoid at all costs. Very unfair at grading and gives the most broad instructions for assignments. Take someone else if possible.

Difficult class especially if you aren't a feminist. Tons of reading and weekly quizzes (usually 2/week). 3 papers- 1 research paper that was very difficult! She takes a really long time to post grades. If you do the study guides, the mid-term and final are easier but still a really hard class overall.

She's a good professor and helpful if you take the time to go in. Very lecture based. The class consists of 4 unit exams, the final, and bimonthly homework assignments. She offers two questions of extra credit on everything including tests. If you steadily increase your score on the exams, she'll bump you up some points by looking at the average.

Great professor. Lectures can be dry and boring but if you care about the material you will find the class interesting. Weekly online quizzes and 3 tests throughout the semester. She is very thorough in her lectures and gives you what you need to succeed in the class. Up to you to get the grade

She gives long lectures with lots of notes and rambles, and in this class gave online homework where you could only answer 1 question at a time and could NOT go back and change answers. That made the class way more stressful even though I got an A. She did curve final grades though. Unless you're a CRJ guru or don't need an A, take someone else.

Dr. Lentz is extremely intelligent and you can ask her any question regarding the law and she will take the time to answer them as thoroughly as possible. Though her lectures are dry and her tests are a bit tricky, as long as you LISTEN in class rather than take extensive notes, you'll be fine. No need to buy the book, just pay attention in class.

Extremely boring lectures, but def help with tests. Notes help a lot on exams. Questions are a bit tricky sometimes so read carefully. Review past exams esp. for final. It helps alot cuz its part cumulative. Supp handouts are somewhat useful online. Assessments r basically free pts, try not to forget. I woulda gotten A if i didnt miss 3 of em.. :/

Only take her if you have to. You have to go to class. Her not clear and her presentations SO DULL. Tests are grossly convoluted. Her assessments consist of regurgitating the notes. Honestly, I would have learned more and been less bored just memorizing the text!

This class was incredibly difficult. It was nearly impossible to receive full points on any of the homework assignments or higher than a B on the midterms or final. I studied more for this class than all my others combined and still only received a B

I would not recommend this teacher to anyone. Her test question are really messed up. She'll put a true/false question with the words, "most likely" and then tell you that you all get it wrong because it was supposed to say, "Always" there. Her notes are also very hard to comprehend because she doesn't write in complete sentances.

this class was probably the first real crj class that i learned something i didn't already know from like kindergarten. TONS of notes, but they're not all on the test. the tests are largely based on the notes (90%notes, 10% book), and it's an expensive book. i wish i hadn't bought it.

Just like her other classes, talks random stuff that really doesn't make sense. LOTS of note taking. Big paper (wasn't bad at all...but the grading on it, not to nice). Test questions are twisted!

Extremely nice and very knowledgable in this topic (LAW). Class is sometimes difficult to follow and so is mandatory book. Professor is very helpful and will do best to help students. Tests sometimes have difficult to understand questions but notes (not allowed on tests) are very helpful in studying for tests.

If you read and pay attention to her dull classes then you should be all set...otherwise you will probably have to re-take. Overall, I would honestly try to avoid her classes as much as possible though...
