She honestly sucks as a teacher. I cold not tell you what I have learned, because is so all over the place and does not stay on one topic at all. She is very harsh when grading papers. Do not take her!

Definitely wouldn't take this professor again. She never stays on one topic, always jumping around during conversations and is never clear. Also when grading papers she makes grammatical and spelling mistakes often. She also forgets what she says two seconds after she says it. Wouldn't recommend.

I had her for Comp 2 and I enjoyed her. She is very spiritual and sweet. Sometimes for have to ask her to be more clear on what she wants you to do but she is a great teacher.

Outstanding teacher. The best English teacher at Northeast State. The only teacher I've had that actually knows how to write and how to teach writing!! Very enthusiastic and helpful.

Do not take her. she is not helpful. no matter what you write it will be wrong. very particular on research papers im a all a's student she tried to give me an f for citing 1 quote wrong in a 10 page paper i do not reccomend her.

This teacher is very jolly and very into her literature..I like English and literature classes but she is not very clear on directions so if you need help with work this is not the class for you. She also freaks out about you going to the restroom. Would not reccommend.

Creative Writing is a must take with Tamara Baxter if you are aspiring to write. She can teach a rock to write poetry, it's true. Her book of short stories won a National Award. It's wonderfully funny. Go for it, you will love it!

This is the most enthusiastic professor about literature I have ever had. She is extremely helpful in the area of research and creative writing. She is a published author with exceptional knowledge in American Lit and British Lit. I am an older student who has attended two other collages in the 60's and late 70's. She is the best an "A+".

This instructor knows nothing about Literature. Her tests are hard. She doesn't specify what to study. Attendence is crucial. She doesn't tell anyone to take notes but don't be fooled. Write down everything. I wouldn't take her again for anything. My class was cancelled 2 wks in because everyone dropped. That alone should tell you something.

I took her class to learn about poets. She isn't a very good instructor. She has her own opinion and that is the only opinion that is right. The only people who enjoy her company in class are the "emo's or the goths". You can't judge this instructor based on her writing. She has a book out and it is crap too!Take Celentano or Hale. Don't take her!

She tells students that they need to change their major. She has told several people that they shouldn't be English Majors. Best she didn't feel they where good enough. I have seen people cry over the things this woman has said to them. I won't take her again and I didn't learn anything this time around.

She laughed infront of the whole class about about how a boy read to the class outloud. She tried to tell him to read it with feeling.. She doesn't need to teach. She just needs to do something else because she only cares about her opinion. What she thinks a poem means is what it is. Your opinion means nothing. Even if what she has said isn't right

She really wants you to express your feelings in your papers.She would probably lose her head if it were not attached. Go to class on lab days even though it is pointless because she spends all her time helping one person, but she will take off for not coming.
