Had to drop her class. If this is the only class you are taking, it might be ok. INSANE amount of reading and work. Very tough grader. Will grade only on grammar, not content.Tests 10 pages long, no joke. AVOID!!!

Professor Celentano is the best English teacher I have ever had. She is helpful, passionate, and engages the student. Her tough but fair grading helped me to achieve an A in her class, and, needless to say, rekindled my passion for literature. My college experience has been further enriched my her class.

RIDICULOUS amount of work! Reading until I about went blind. Writing essay after essay. It would be okay if it was the ONLY class I was taking! Tests are so hard and questions are so broad any answer could be right or wrong. Don't take this class!

Very Nice lady overall. Her monotone voice makes getting distracted very easy. She is,however,very willing to help if you ask. I think she should speak up a little more and maybe try to make her classes a little more interesting. you really should not dread going to a class!!!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. She is super boring. Everyday she rambles on about nothing important. You learn absolutely nothing and write a ton of essay's. And you will never make an A on the essay no matter how hard you try. Again do not take her class. You will regret it if you do.

This class was pretty interesting overall,but the text book was not written very well.It's animal imagery was overly distracting and the interpretations were too short to really capture the audience.I liked that the book was approached in a feminist way, focusing on the female power in ancient times, but it wasn't enough to win over the bad writing

Very nice instructor, but not at all what I expected in an English Comp class. Very hard on grading essays. Couldn't get an "A" no matter how hard I tried. Very willing to work with you if you need help.

A very nice person overall, extremely confusing on assignments, when she assigns an assignment she spends weeks discussing it before she actually gives a due date. Class is spent listening to boring lectures of irrelevance. As a very talented English student, I am appalled by the uselessness of this class.

Mrs. Celentano is a very friendly professor. She is willing to help students who attend her class regularly and put forth an effort. She can be unclear at times but if you still don't understand just ask her aside and she will gladly help.

Her endless rants of blank chatter could drive any person mentally insane. She's a nice lady, no doubts there but she cannot explain English at all without long meaningless leftist speeches. She's impossible to work with and will not help you when you need it. Most of all, she is among the top 5 most boring I've ever had. SLOOWWW TALLLKKINNNGGGG.

Scatter brain and confusing. Always has to "explain" something and what ever she is explain is still unclear as mud. Very frustrating and doesn't have any kind of guidelines she goes by to grade, you won't ever make a 100 on anything and it takes her a long time to grade anything. Very forgetful to correct grades or points in D2L.

Mrs. Celentano is very helpful in the feedback she gives. Her only draw back is her monotone voice. It makes it hard to pay attention. But she is a truly good teacher and helps whenever you ask. She doesn't make English easy, but your writing improves because of it!

Very caring and easy to work with. Judith may seem reserved at first, but she is a wonderful person once you get to know her. I have the greatest respect for her and would highly suggest anything she teaches. Very intelligent, but also down-to-earth :)

Ms. Celentano is a wonderful teacher. Her class is certainly not easy, but I learn a lot. It is the best English class that I have taken. If you are serious about becoming a better writer then she can help you accomplish that.
