Comment:

His online class was horrible honestly. There are so many assignments and he gives no feedback on those so you wont know if youre on the right track. The material is hard to understand. He does test reviews that are pre-recorded and some are horrible quality. He seems nice so his class in person could be better but dont recommend online.

Comment:

This class was difficult. Exam questions were incredibly random from the 6-8 readings per module. On the final term paper, it had to be less than 6 pages, BUT, there was too much content to cover in 6 pages. Ended up having to cut a lot out. Even though I was told I needed more content in my outline.

You won't pass this course if you skip class although you almost did most of homework and tests. Heavy homework and tests too. I do not recommend him.

Terry Sader would not work with me. He wouldn't respond to emails. His way of doing tests was unfair because he wouldn't let you see what you missed. I do not recommend him. You'll be frustrated the whole time. He wasn't clear with his instructions either.

Horrible teacher. His assignments not from the book are too vague. His notes are irrelevant. Everything you do is you teaching yourself. Once he posted a review video for the second test. Most of the time the camera wasn't pointed at the board and it wasn't even a good enough camera to read the board..

He gives online tests that are extremely easy to "help" other students with. 20-30 of the 50 questions on the tests are from the quizzes. Quizzes are online, unlimited retakes, and present the answers once completed after every attempt. The material can be difficult, but he does a good job of presenting the information so its easier to understand

He is great! Will always help. I had went to Philosophy club which he advises and became Philosophy Club president! He is an inspiration to my education and a wonderful person to know. He constantly plays devils advocate-but it helped shape my morals! His Ethics class was tough at times, but very interesting.

I am not sure if it is him who is hard, or if this class is just hard. I took ethics online and the material is mind boggling. An A is achievable, however you have to work very hard to get it. He grades pretty tough and a lot of times doesn't explain exactly what you did wrong. Tough class but it is interesting and he knows what he's doing.

I really liked him for a professor but I wont lie and say it was my favorite class. It was hard to understand half of what is being talked about without later going back and looking it up. He's pretty easy going and tries to work with you if you have a problem I would say if you like philosophy take his class otherwise take ethics.

If you are interested in learning about Philosophy, Terry's your man! He gives an in-depth history and explanation of various philosophies. He even explains some viewpoints students have but don't know it! This course is hard with lots of heavy material, but it's worth it. Lots of quizzes, about 5-6 essays. English Comp 2 should be a prerequisite.

This was the most boring class i have taken at butler. He has a huge ego and loves to hear himself talk. Quizes every single class and sometimes twice a day (if more than 3 people leave early). Asks some really frustrating questions for no reason, and likes to annoy students.

Dr. Sader is a wonderful teacher. He is very clear and interesting in his lectures, never boring. He is not easy-but you can get the grade u want if u work for it. He is available many days of the week, and has a few extra credit oppertunities. I would def. recoment him but keep in mind u have to be ready to work for your grade. He's just gooooood!

I found Dr. Sader to be very helpful even though the material was difficult. He clearly outlines his expectations and only gives take-home exams. Plus he is available if you need extra clarification. You do not have to read the book to pass!

Completely superfluous, but his voice makes me very sleepy. If you want a good grade in this class, you've got to work for it. That means reading the assigned topics before each class period (don't worry, the weekly quizzes are by no means grade-breakers. MOST IMPORTANT, every time there's a paper, make him read your draft. At least twice.

I really hated this class. He will never let you out early. As far as the work it was ridiculous. There was a quiz every day. He wrote his own book and used it in the class, if that tells you anything. I would not recomend this class to anyone. It is boring, hard it basically sucks!

For the term paper, he said if your outline was good, write your paper strictly from the outline and you will be fine, but I got a perfect score on the outline, and a C on the term paper. when I asked him about it, he said he must have given me a better grade than I deserved on the outline.

Very difficult class. I do not recomend it as a general education credit. This teacher is big on essays but not clear on what he wants. I got comments over and over to expand and then when I tried was told I was to wordy. All in all I would never again take a philosophy class after this.

He is very helpful on understanding something that is very hard to understand. He has test that are take home, but have a challenge to them since they are take home essay exams. But over all he is an outstanding instructor.
