RUN! I saw the reviews on here and thought that I could handle a difficult teacher like Bicki, but I was WRONG. His lectures are him talking at you for an hour and forty five minutes straight. He veers off topic so much it's difficult to understand what the class is ever about. Worked my ass of for an A. So not worth it.

Obviously a really intelligent teacher, he was very lecture heavy which was sometimes hard to deal with but he was interested in his subject and that kept me interested. Very long midterm/final. If you're looking for an easy teacher this is not it.

Comment:
As a fourth year Emerson student, I can safely say that this is one of the worst classes I have ever taken at Emerson. I am confident that I will pass, yet Bicki runs this class in the most incomprehensible way possible. No organization or structure in the least. I am a solid democrat, but his libral bias in the classroom is pretty disgusting.

Knows his stuff, can be a little disorganized at times but other than that he is a pretty good teacher. He is funny. If you go to class and do th readings the class is pretty easy. Group projects were fun and manageable

Tricky Bicki is a hard teacher in many ways, especially for a science gen ed at a school where no one really cares about science. Daily quizes on the reading where hard, but I ended up doing well on them. He gives bonuses to kids who get perfect attendance, like dropping half of your quiz grades, which is really helpful. He is very enthusiastic

This man is hilarious! I have no idea what happened in that class, I am sure I bombed the final, I failed all of the quizzes, and I still got a B. He does not stop talking about how the world is going to explode because we don't recycle, but he is really funny to listen to. Take the class... it is easy, and gets rid of the stupid science req.

Hate this class. Completely unclear with any and all written directions (he needs an editor, like... seriously) ... and the quizzes are just asinine. This man is not a teacher. He's a research guy that Emerson College found somewhere because all of the professors are at other schools. Brilliant, but difficult to handle in a classroom setting.

This class is a disaster. He tells you if you read, you'll do fine. That is bull. Be prepared to be often bored, and very confused. This is Emerson! Not med school!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! He will repeat things so many times you will want to scream. He says the same things every class. He also has this thing about talking about how boston will be eventually destroyed in a giant earthquake every five minutes. Seriously, avoid this class, his quizzes consist of a single vocabulary word from your reading. Stay away.

He's an awesome teacher. He's very enthusiastic about all subjects and always has a side story to help the subject seem understandable. He's very clear and is just... well, awesome.

Nice guy & fairly fun class but he rushes through lectures- leaving students with not enough time to copy notes from overhead projector. A good number of video viewings. He aims to get us enthusiastic about learning but we just need an easy science cours
