Bonfiglio will give you a zero on an assignment, comment what you did wrong, and then give you nothing to help you for the next assignment. He expects you to figure out what you did wrong and will insult you if you don't. Seriously one of the professors that made me feel worst about myself.

Please take this class if you have a chance. You actually learn about the world of business. No extra credit, but the assignments are straight forward and Professor Bonfiglio is so easy to reach and actually cares about you. My class was 25 people. One assignment due every Sunday at the same time with a group project at the end. no tests.

Comment:

Bonfiglio is a great teacher and I actually learned a lot from his class. It's only once a week so attendance is important but you get two freebies. Weekly homework assignments were easy. The textbook is needed but it's cheap. His grading is kind of weird and he doesn't do plus/minus. The final is a group project that you work on in class.

Professor Bonfiglio is by far one of the best professors I've had at ASU. I actually learned in this class and without the stress and anxiety of normal college courses. He is very understanding and goes above and beyond to meet with students and provide feedback. Wish more professors could care about their students like that.

This professor is cool and engaging. His grading is a little different. His grading is not much you gain but how much you lost. I got all A's on almost every assignment but ended with a B because I lost 11 points. Don't make mistakes on formatting or it will cost you. Just try not to lose any points and you will be successful in this class.

Professor Bonfiglio is an amazing professor. I took him online for summer session A and it was a great class. I am only sad that I didn't get to work with him in person. He was very understanding and had great conversations with him about various things. He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed! Take this class with him!!!

Bonfiglio was my favorite prof this semester! He's really funny and cares about his students. I hate writing essays but he gave us really interesting prompts and I loved writing for this class so much. You'll do well as long as you put in effort- I got 100% on every assignment. Also, he was really easy on us when we went online for the semester !

Professor Bonfiglio is inspirational and hilarious. He will give you an A if you show honest effort. It is a shame that he will not be teaching this class because of the new curriculum restrictions. I learned things about myself that I never knew. I loved writing about me and not another research paper. This professor is a wonderful human.

You may not be incredibly challenged or make huge strides in your writing ability, but you'll have a great time every day in class. Bonfiglio will assign a couple of readings before class, then you'll just spend your time talking about them and whatever else is on his mind that day (current events, personal anecdotes, etc.). Relax and enjoy!

10/10 professor and person. Lenient grader if you put in the effort but makes sure that you actually learn. Has plenty of experience and will teach you a lot about writing. Does not offer A+ for 302, but an A is easily attainable. Was sympathetic and adjusted curriculum during COVID-19. Definitely take him for ENG 105 or 302 if you can.

Best prof! He is so kind to his students. Attendance is mandatory, dont think too hard about assignments, they are straightforward and he grades on effort not perfection. His class is always fun and entertaining. Lots of group work so pick good people, but easy!

Bonfiglio's a very easy A. He tries to make the class a real world learning experience for business majors. People who talk smack about him are usually the people who are too lazy to go to a writing center and get help with writing coherently. You don't even have to be a good writer to succeed in this class. He also loves to chat with his students.

My favorite professor. He's picky when he grades but the assignments are all really short and he gives detailed instructions and tons of examples of each one for us to follow. He takes points away for small errors but since he tells you exactly what he wants and how he wants everything formatted it isn't that hard.

For the first time in my life, I looked forward to going to an English class! One of the greatest professors of all time! He makes the assignments interesting and fun to work on. He will point out your mistakes in front of the class, but he does it to everyone, making it a safe environment to learn from yours and others' mistakes.

Awesome professor, you actually learn about proper business writing from him. The attendance was irritating, but the homework was extremely easy and quick to do. The class does have a final group project worth 20% of your grade, but as long as you get okay group members you're fine. I took the class over Session A of Summer and it was great.

Professor Bonfiglio is fun and supportive! ENG302 is very easy with minimal work, so maybe place it in a semester where you have a lot of other things going on. Bonfiglio loves chatting and is super responsive through email. 100% recommend him!

Professor Bonfiglio is amazing! He knows a lot about business writing but also understands how to teach you the information while also providing minimal assignments. He does grade for attendance but the class is very laid back and usually more of a conversation or group work rather than a lecture. He is also very understanding about internships!
