He's the best professor I had this semester and is the reason circuits was such a fun class. He works with you, and is always there for extra help or questions and gives enough material to prepare for exams. He posts material online and is very timely (generally) in handing back homework assignments to prepare for exams. All in all, TAKE HIS CLASS

Super invested in his students. He makes sure that students have ample resources to succeed. He is more than willing to answer any question and his review exams are actually relevant to the exam. As long as you do the homework with out trying to chegg it you will do just fine in any of Tim's courses.

Tim is a great teacher, and truly enjoy what he is doing. EE216 is a fun class, partly thanks to Tim, but it is also a very challenge class

Good class as long as you do the work. Weird guy but in a good way. Look for footprints on the wall below the white board.

HE IS A GREAT THE PROFESSOR. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT HIS LECTURE IS MUCH MUCH EASIER THAN THE HW ASSIGNMENTS AND EXAMS. YOU WOULD HAVE TO LOOK FOR OTHER RESOURCES TO STUDY FOR HIS TESTS.

Tim has super good lectures, and post lectures online that help even more! There is really no set way to do things, which made somethings kinda hard to do, but overall the class was pretty awesome and interesting!

He's a great instructor! I major in Ch E and I hate physics! EE is just a requirement! I didn't expect that I would go to this EE class at all, but I actually enjoy Tim's lecture a lot and I am so willing to be in class because of the way he teach! It's so different than what I have done in physics even though the contents are quite similar!

Pretty easy teacher, very laid back. He presents all concepts slowly and clearly. If you've taken C programming, this class is 3/4 review. Turn your homework in on time though.

Amazing professor, explains the material so well it makes you wonder why you never got it in kindergarten. Tim is also very easy to get help from and does his best to help the students succeed. By far the best professor at the university!

Mr. Hanshaw is very helpful and a great teacher. I would recommend him. His grading is very fair. I can honestly say I got a B+ in the class while struggling with matlab most of the year. Matlab, btw, sucks, but this class is required for most engineering classes. In all, very boring class, easy to get a good grade it, awesome teacher.

Easiness rating needs to go to the trash for all EECS classes... Tim is the most helpful/easiest to talk to professor at this school. He is willing to help you even if it means staying around longer and knows people need a little time to see what is happening and fully understand it. Best professor at this university by far!!

Tim is an awesome instructor. Just try to stop by his office and ask questions if you have any. He may not give you the answer directly but rather provides you a direction that may lead you to the answer. His test usually has one tricky problem which is not that difficult at all if you understand basic principle well. Highly recommended.
