If you attend the class and ask for help she will do everything she can to help you understand the material. She wont give you a grade you do have to learn the material and understand it, that is why we take the classes. She is more than fair and a favorite professor of mine.

Comment:

Algebra during the Summer session is brutal. Nearly half the class dropped by the end of this semester, but if they had stuck it out, they would have learned that WeiWei is a considerate teacher who wants her students to succeed. All that she asks it that you try your hardest. HOWEVER one major issue we had was our final grade. She gave the final exam the wrong "weight" and nearly the whole class felt that they didn't get the grade they deserved. She did not understand when we tried to explain this to her and did not change it accordingly. She did make some final adjustments for the final grade, but not without constant emailing from her students. You will definetely have to watch her on that & just stay on top of your scores.

Comment:

She is an amazing Calc teacher and she is very smart. Her english is a bit rough but like everyone else has said, the fact that she bends over backwards to help students be successful is amazing. I was unsure about this class in the first place and the professor got me through it. She is a wonderful person!

A good teacher all in all, some minimal english problems, but that did not stop the material from reaching our minds. Very helpful if you did not understand something, unless you weren't paying attention and then asked a question in class. Then you would look like an idiot. :D Gave make up test of your choice. Cared about students.

Good teacher. The tests are really difficult, but she lets you make it up in your quizzes and attendance. Just go to class and try and you should do just fine!

Her English can be a little difficult to understand at times, but her willingness to help students and provide further explanation makes up for it.
