In the beginning she comes across as stern and rude but she just tells you how it is. She is the kindest woman I have ever met and her door is always open! She creates a community in her classroom and you truly build the best friendships through her group assignments. As long as you display you understand the content in your paper, easy A! LOVE HER

Dr. McKay is one of the most understanding and passionate professors I have ever had. She genuinely cares about bettering her community and actively practices what she preaches. She does require a bit of work, but the work she assigns is very engaging and important.

Very passionate at sometimes too passionate unorganized When you think you're done with an assignment she assigns another one she interrupts groups not giving them time to present, singles people out, and at times makes people very uncomfortable she is a good person but mediocre professor good class to take if you can handle alot of work

The first day of class, I would have said she was a bad professor. But as the semester progressed, I really did start to like her. We talked about diversity issues and it opened my mind about how to approach things as a future educator. She assigns a lot of homework, but is a pretty easy grader. Not so keen the first day, but I'm happy I had her.

This professor is extremely unorganized. The whole class had no idea what to do the first 3 weeks of class. She's a very nice lady and cares about education and for the most part encourages other points of view on issues. At one point we were writing 3 essays a week. Overall is not a horrible class if you have good group members

McKay is a super sweet person but I would not recommend taking this course with her. We have double the work that other ed201 classes have. Also, she is HORRIBLY unorganized. I never have any idea what I am supposed to be doing AND the syllabus does not match up with the class. The class itself is fine but the bad out weighs the good.

Professor Mckay is a great sweet caring teacher. As long as you do all the essays which are very easy you will pass. Final is simple all you have to do is talk about how you changed from beginning to end of class. Don't skip class or you have to write a summary on what you missed which is definitely not worth it. She's very funny and an easy grader

This is a really easy class but Zanna is CRAZY!!!! If you do not have the same political views as her... GOOD LUCK! She is hypocritical and will make you not want to become a teacher. DO NOT TAKE 201 WITH HER YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!

Dr. McKay is definitely an inspiring and humorous professor, and really goes out of her way to make class interesting. However, this does not nearly compare to the work load I received in EDUC201. My friends that took the same course with other professors had half the work. Her expectations are ridiculous ESPECIALLY given how unorganized she is.

One of the best professors I have had. She can be a little unorganized but is an amazing person and professor. Class is based on discussions and little-no lectures although she will also talk during the discussion. She is inspirational. I believe that everyone, even students who aren't education majors should have the opportunity to take this class

I love her. She's amazing and passionate about this class. Class is based on class discussions about the homework readings and current events. There is a lot of homework but all things that can get done quick. She can tend to be unorganized but it usually works out to the advantage of the class. I honestly think everyone should take her class.

Professor McKay was extremely unorganized. She would change the MANY due dates multiple times. Almost felt like she didn't think we took any other classes because she had us complete so many random assignments. Almost felt like busy work because we barely would even go over it. Also was very hard to voice your opinion in class. Wouldn't take again.

Took Zanna for 106. Worked us like dogs but got a lot from the class. Took her again for 201 & loved it. Best professor for diversity education. She is downright inspirational. Very unorganized & gives a lot of work but is flexible with due dates. If you go to her office hours, she is EXTREMELY helpful. If you put in the time, you will succeed.

SO. MUCH. WRITING. You might not think you are an author, but you will be after taking this class with the amount of papers that you write. I wrote at least 20 papers for this class. The work never ends. Its not difficult work. You will get a good grade if you do the work. There is so much work it is hard to keep up. Very unorganized.

She's super nice and really makes you think. Her class is a lot of writing though. Due to her not being super organized and the amount of papers necessary you may have to resubmit papers during the last week of class. She will make you think and do lots of work. I recommend taking her regardless of the workload.

She is a brilliant woman with a lot to say. The class itself is very interesting and enjoyable and it makes you think a lot. She gives a lot of work, which would be okay if it wasn't mostly busywork. I feel like I need to repeat myself a lot to get my point across. We have to do a personal presentation and paper after a 30 minute group presentation
