Overall, Dr. Chaney is a knowledgeable, competent professor. She demonstrates mastery of the material in her lectures as well as class discussions. She taught me how to read, write, and research more effectively, improving my overall academic ability. Warning: she is not an easy professor in His 101/102 nor her upper-level classes for history major

Very fun in the classroom. Seems to love what she does. She's very, very nice but is not an easy teacher at all. Her tests are HARD and she grades too tightly, in my opinion. She looks for very specific wording.
