I had no business taking this class. I took Pre-Cal twice, drop it once and failed it the second time. Definitely not my strong suit, this professor works with you and helps you understand the material. 4 exams and 1 final, the lowest grade will be dropped and replaced with the final. DO THE ONLINE HOMEWORK! DON'T LEAVE EARLIER, AND PARTICIPATE!

Comment:

first off, this is a VERY difficult course, be ready to put in the time and dedication. Do all the homework, study for the exams! 60% - 4 tests; 10% - online homework; 30% - final exam. He gives extra credit on each exam based on homework. At the end he helps a lot and if you demonstrate interest, he helps you be successful in the course.

Bus Calc is not an easy class. You MUST study the samples from class. Make sure you COMPLETE all homework on time. He curves at the end of the class. I would definitely that this professor again. Dr. Zadegan cares about his students and he will go over examples until understood. DO NOT leave class early or arrive late - it will affect your grade.

Very nice person but horrible professor. It is very difficult to follow his lectures so be prepared to teach yourself. Curves and provides homework that is worth 10% of overall grade but his exams are extremely long and frustrating for the amount of time given to complete them. I do not recommend this professor unless you're very good in math.

Nice person, gives extra credit/curves on tests but terrible lectures. Reads off powerpoint. Freq goes off topic. Will not learn anything from lectures. Heavy accent. As school term progressed, students began dropping the class one by one from 30 students to only 10 students. Tests substantially different from what he lectures on. BEWARE

Very nice person. Class is easy if you decide you want to take loopholes through and not actually learn anything but if you plan on actually wanting to learn the subject do not take him. Does not explain clearly. Heavy accent.

I took this class as a freshman and I definitely worked my butt off like there was no tomorrow for it. At first it seemed impossible judging by my grade on the first test, but with each test I took, I realized I was improving. He really cares about his students. thoroughly teaches every section. Very nice and humble guy. He curved each test by 5%.

I really don't understand all the bad reviews on him. I took him over the summer and he made it nearly impossible to do poorly. He scales the tests, he may be a little confusing but if you read the book and do the homework you will pass.

Prof Zadegan answered all of my questions, was flexible with extending HW due dates, let us reference our notes with formulas during tests, and replaced one test grade with the final grade if it was higher. He has an accent but I had no problem understanding him. I took STATS 2021 course with him and would take another one, no doubt.

HE is very hard, I really wish I read through these before I decided to take him, he is very hard to understand, although he is very nice he tends to go too fast on the lesson, doesn't give many test, homework or classwork so that you can improve your grade. Don't take him.

Here's the thing with Mr. Zadegan. He's a really nice guy but get a little rambled between his lectures. He is not very precise with his teachings and also moves too quick for students to follow. His test look nothing like the homework or even practice problems. However if you show your effort he will help curve your grade.

Really Hard class. But Zadegan gives you every opportunity to pass. 4 tests total, Final is cumulative, and it will replace your lowest test grade. All HW is Online, you get 3 attempts, and can hand it in late w no points off. His accent is not bad at all. He does curve tests, usually by around 15 points. I would recommend him.

Business Calculus was extremely hard for me. Professor values participation, don't leave early and show you are putting in time for homework. Test are tough, be he is fair and gives you every opportunity to pass. Focus on class lectures, tests come from the material & concepts discussed in class. Ask for his hand written tests not online test.

HORRIBLE, do NOT take him. Failed his class and now I have to retake it. I have never had a problem in math, actually one of my best subjects. Strong accent, annoying, not helpful. Everything was through mymathlab and he made the times of the text very inconvenient. No extra credit and no curving grades. Do not take him.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Quizzes and Homework through mylabsplus was easy. Lectures went over the basic examples from the textbook. Got annoyed when asked what he considered a "basic" question. Class average after the first test was an F. 75 students started the class and 15 made it to the final. He grades unfairly. No curve, no extra credit.

He explains step by step and will go over until you get it. He does have an accent but you can understand it. I don't know why he has poor reviews. If you want to pass you have to study. Like everything else in life, if you put effort you will do good. You can't expect A's to just be handed to you. He does not make it hard to get an A.

He's nice and sort of willing to work with disabilities, but he has horrible communication and teaching skills. My class has given up trying to pass, and it's only midterms. He has no concept of how long it takes us to do things, doesn't answer questions, and blames our confusion on ourselves when he won't explain things clearly. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

your ability to comprehend someone has never been tested this intensely before. nice guy. but overall if you can avoid having him as a teacher do it
