Dimmerman is a great teacher. TAKE HER CLASS!! She doesnt use the book but she does have slides. Study the slides, study with friends, and you'll do great. Practice the tests over and over. I hated econ but she helped me through it and if you just skip class your asking for a C.

I have trouble with econ so while others may find her very easy I had some trouble. She is very straightforward and organised in her presentation. She does a very good job covering the basic concepts and preparing slides for students. It is clear what you should study but you must study if you are not an econ person. Tests, paper, problem sets

If you just want a straightforward and bring class, take it. But if you are wanting to learn and get engaged in the subject, forget about it. Talks alot about Hot Dogs, Pizza, Butter, and Bread.....

Great professor. She teaches you important stuff, as well as being incredibly straight forward. There is no question what you will be tested on. The only thing that you have to do is put in effort to study the power points before class. It requires some effort to memorize, but overall a great class and a relatively easy one.

She is very nice and I love her teaching style. She gives you power point notes and her exams are fair. As long as you study the notes. Her grading is fair and at times very generous with point deduction. She is always avaliabe by email and office hours. You are going to love her. So take her.

One of the best Econ profs I've had so far. Gives you PowerPoint notes to print out for each class so you barely need the textbook. Very clear lectures. Tests are extremely fair and easy if you know the material well. I took 121 w/ Labadie but I imagine Dimmerman would be better. Wasn't interested in Macroecon before but this class changed my mind.

This was, by far, the best Econ class I've taken at GW (and I've taken quite a few). Her lectures are very clear and easy to understand. Her notes are very organized and helpful when doing the problem sets and studying for exams. If you have to take 121, definitely take it with her.
