Comment:
Prof is very unclear with expectations & consistently unavailable. Prof is smug and egotistical. If you attend you will do well, however prepare for 2.5 hours of ego stroking stories. This professor has completely checked out and is the essence of a disengaged educator. Avoid if possible.

Chris is a businessman. His approach to teaching this first year course is based a lot on his real life experience, which is very useful, moreso to real-life business than the course. His weekly quizzes can be very tricky, but impossible to completely fail. He is a very interesting and inspiring speaker.

Chris...is interesting. Class stories seems more like ego strokes than relevant examples. Evaluations were unfair, MC often has 3-4 completely correct answers. Never referenced text...half of exam questions are worded "according to your text". On positive side...classes were interesting and Chris is fairly prompt with email responses.

Good at making concepts interesting; often ties in stories of his own experience as a businessman into his lectures. Fair marker and helpful with assignments if you go see him.

AMAZING prof. I looked forward to going to his classes and enjoyed all of them. He tends to get a little bit off topic but always has a good story to tell. Very interesting and encourages participation and questions. His marking is a little confusing but fair.

He gives high marks to his favorites, and everyone else does bad. Overall, he is a horrible prof, and the main reason why I am major in accounting instead on management.

Chris is nuts. But in the best way possible. I think. He is a genius, and one of the best BSAD professors, I'm wondering why I never took him before, makes you think, conducts an EXCELLENT class and well, yeah, really emphasizes the thinkign thing....

By far my favourite prof at this school so far. I plan to take his classes again. He makes his lectures fun and interesting, and uses a lot of comedy and anecdotal material to get his point across. If you go to class and listen, you will do well on tests. If you use an edge and strive to impress him...you'll do well on assigments. Best intro prof!

hes amazing! Galea makes sure his students understand, and enjoy his class. He will help out in any/all ways needed. Slides are presented for the year at beginning, with space for additional notes during lecture. Lectures are planned wonderfuly and he demonstrates his passion everyday. Really energetic and enjoyable class.

Interesting prof but his marking scheme is very unclear, mid-term was 2hrs! which he did not mention, questions were confusing-more like a final. Don't take him unless you have to!

Good guy, really laid back. His marks are all over the place though. I did one assignment got a 77, next one was the same quality - 45. On tests you get a mark on a question and you have no idea why you got it. Marks r random. Class r somewhat entertaining, he has a few businesses and gives comparisons to them. He gives you the powerpoint handouts.

He has a lot of business experience which helps with the course, but he's not very clear with his marking schemes, and even when they are provided is very random with marks.

Chris teaches from real-life experience and not just txetbook theory. he's got many great stories that keep you intrested and they all relate (eventually!) to the teaching points he's trying to get accross. A fun, really bright (scary sometimes!) and personable prof.

Galea is tough, fair, makes you think, is wildly original, has travelled far and knows a lot about a lot... go to his classes if you want to be stimulated, challenged and captivated... but don't expect a free ride - you work hard in his courses or you sink. if you want easy go back to highschool

you learn more about his personal life than the course material. He spent 30 mins talking about his garage/3 story second home. Hard to follow at times and hardly comes to a point.

Chris is a very hard marker and is no help in doing the business simulation. I had to go see another business prof. just to get answers to my questions. If you can take a diff prof, your better off!
