Such a good prof! I looked forward to class and learned a lot. She even gave us her cell # to answer any of our emergency darkroom questions. She is also extremely extremely funny, which made class all the more enjoyable.

Awesome. Best VISA prof I've had by far. I looked foward to each class. Specializes in photo, which might explain some of the poor ratings. But lectures were consise, informative and engaging, grading was prompt and fair, had a good balance between technical and conceptual, showed us nice art and cared about our welfare. And she was hilarious.

very interesting lectures, but TERRIBLE in every other aspect of the course. i hated it the course because she was not at all open minded to students' artwork. extremely hard marker, and gave better grades to collage looking work. i don't respect her as an artist (though she is an amazing lecturer) so i would never take a course with her again.

Worst teacher at UBC, course was a shambles, a complete was of time. Puts down students all the time, probably because she is insecure herself; always tries to show that she knows more than anyone else but fails miserably as a teacher.
