Comment:

Always accessible outside class, but he seriously needs to get his courses organized. Due to his failure to stay organized, he moves assignments to finals , cancels parts of the project, and leaves students feeling unsatisfied with the course. Some TA's had no idea what was going on in the project, and the prof himself never showed up to any lab

Utterly lazy and completely unconcerned about one of our most important courses (Capstone). Gives us NO marks returned by the time exams season rolls around. Assigns a brand new assignment DURING EXAMS. Has no idea about software and yet he judges a SOFTWARE/Mechatronic capstone. Like most CAS professors, a dishonor to the institution.

Dr. Wassyng is the best prof ive had so far at Mac. The course is not easy, but if you put effort into it, Dr. Wassyng will help you every step of the way. He is really passionate about what he does, and he wants the student to succeed, and moreso, understand the value of what he is teaching.

I am surprised to see all the negative remarks about him have disappeared from this site. This man holds prejudices against you if you make mistake on any question he thinks is fundamental to SE and marks you down on the rest of your answers with harmful intentions. He may seem like the nicest person you ever met, but he can do harm beyond imagination. Very sly indeed.
