One of the best Professors I've ever had. Incredible guy. Very helpful, very nice, very knowledgable, very intelligent. Absolutely awesome human being. This semester's Screenwriting course has been the best class I've taken to date in University thus far.

He is critical,marks hard but fair. He keeps my interest the whole 2.5 hrs! I have lots to learn, he has lots to teach. Easy to approach.

Not all that great at running a class. Sometimes his lectures are helpful, but he directed too much attention to fixing stylistic problems (something that should have been covered in ENGL 1). He was a bit dry, disorganized, and disappointing. But he was a generous marker (I got an A+!).

He is a little intimidating (During the first week, he kicked a girl out of the course for leaving 5 minutes early.) A pretty easy marker, and gave an essay extension when asked. However, he is too vague when explaining what he wants on an assignment and chooses boring stories from text.

absolutely terrible prof, mean, inconsiderate, rambles on about "stories are like bridges", unclear on assignments, marks as though he was being clear, rude, NEVER BE LATE, he humiliated students enough that they dropped out, wish i had! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY AVOID THIS MAN

Boring class w/ mean prof who doesn't like to help you at all. Be prepared for class b/c he runs down the class list and asks everyone if they've done the reading and what 'effect' it had on them. Always late and does not engage the class like he thinks he does. Lots of work/reading that doesnt count for marks. No good, steer clear!

At first I didn't like Dr. Turner (he's a pretty intense guy), but by the end of the year I really appreciated his perspectives.He gives creative assignments and is a fair marker.Not always the best prepared for class (tends to repeat himself a lot) but very passionate about what he loves.ALWAYS runs late!!! Don't be scared away by other comments.

classes are virtually useless. we get there, he asks something about our "characters," and then we workshop until he explains the next assignment in under 5 minutes. ends class late, and talks so quietly that you think one day he'll probably blow and start yelling. looks very weird and makes strange noises. one weird dude.

This guy scares me. First class we had and he began to twitch violently and went on this rampage and started yelling at someone who was late (which was ironic because HE was late to being with). I finished the course, but was always afraid to ask questions because he will literally yell at you if he thinks your question was stupid.
