First time taking an online course and extremely happy with it. Alison's notes are straight forward and gives you a study guide on what will be tested. Basically if you do all your assignments and discussions you will get a decent mark. Easy A

Alison is an amazing prof. She is so enthusiastic about what she teaches. I have taken a few classes with her and they have all been a great experience. Her classes have many different dynamics making them interesting (guest speakers, tours outside of school, interesting assignments etc) For exams you really need to study all details!

This was my first time taking an online lecture and I'm not a huge fan of it. Alison had 4 group projects for us to do which were marked pretty difficulty. Her online tests are hard. The lecture material was straight forward but you need to know it well. She might be better in person. The online class was tough but you can still get a good mark

I love Alison!!! She is my favourite KPE prof, she is so helpful and so funny. She is very clear with what she wants and gives everything in a lot of detail. Her midterms are tough and its a lot of writing, but if you follow her notes and the textbook you'll do fine.

Alison is an awesome teacher, is super friendly and just a really nice lady. She's straight forward with her assignments, provides study guides for exams and is an easy marker. Although the majority of the course was based on the history of KPE Alison did a great job of making rather boring course material more interesting. She's one of the best!

My first impression of her was that she was nuts. She makes you do weird activities, but she's fun. Study guides for exams are pretty close to actual tests, and she LOVES making everyone do a least 3 presentations/course. Material is boring at first. Suck up, dress up when she hints it (Greece theme) and she will love you. I ended up loving her.

Online class, no idea what she's like in person. Felt misled about course content; first half was basically a history of sports. Did her best to provoke interest in the class and encouraged participation; the online discussions were pointless but assignments were decent. Easy marker. Clear directions for studying re: midterm/final. Very helpful.

This class was so flaky;I learned nothing.The 4 presentations we had to do were pointless.Alison treats the class like elementary kids and would not even let us go to the bathroom during our final (the first instructor i've had in five years at UCFV to do that).I did well in the class,but she totally turned me off from taking anymore KPE classes.

Terrible class! Horrible teacher! This is supposed to be an intro to kinesiology but is actually taught like a sociology of sport class. It was very misleading. She treats everyone like they are in Kindergarten and talks down to students. Avoid her if you can!
