Comment:

Professor Felix the gem of BMCC. He is great at his lectures, plus his grading is geared for the students to pass. You will learn a lot in his class by just listening to him and doing the HW. As long as you do his practice exams and the HW, there should be a reason why you woulnt get an A.

If you want to learn some calculus you want to take his class. He cares, great lectures and a great guy overall!!! Extra credits for homework, reviewed all exams. Just listen to him and do ALL homework and you will not only pass but also gain some understanding of calculus!

I took him for pre calculus and I'm taking him again for calculus. Math in general is hard so this class is no walk in the park. Felix makes his grading criteria as clear as possible. He gives you a study guide with practice questions. If you master the study guide, you pass the test. Homework is ridiculous though, he counts it as a quiz grade.

Prof. Felix is a great and funny guy. I am horrible in Math so his teaching skills didn't benefit me 100% but he works with you as much as he can to ensure you obtain a decent grade. I'd like tests weekly as opposed to every other month. A lot of material in one test. Overall, he is cool. I'd take his class again.

It's easy to get good grade in his class. All you have to do practice the review which he will provide for each exam. you will receive good grade but it will be hard for you to understand the concept of calculus. If you are lazy and wanted easy A than take him. But if you want to learn calculus than look for other professor.

He is great professor. he is funny and teaches well. He gives notes that is based on class. online assignment. 3 exams, one is optional and take 2 greatest grades. great great professor. i took MAT206 in spring then i am gonna take MAT 301 in fall even its a saturday class.

Calculus on its own is a difficult course but every math class I thank God for Felix. He makes math much easier. Don't be fooled by the reviews b/c for you have to work for your grade. There is a ton of webassign hw, 3 maple projects, as well as 3 tests. The 2nd test was a killer but most of us got a retake. Register early, his class fill up fast.

Mr. Fit it Felix was amazing when I had him. Though the class was easy for me, he made those early mornings so much better. He's a great professor who will help you step by step. He's a funny and nice guy. If your having trouble just ask him and he will immediately help you. Just do your HW if your exams are bad and it'll help a lot as well. <3

Professor Felix... Oh man by far the best professor I have EVER had in my life. He makes sure everyone understands the problems, if you don't understand something in his class, its because you didn't ask. He will literally explain everything step by step. He has a great sense of humor and is just such a nice guy. I wish every professor was like him

Flexible Felix is the man. I was scared to take precalc but his method of teaching, web assign, own notes, smart board, whiteboard and how cool he is made this one month weekend summer course much easier than expected. Come to class, stay on top of the hw, and do the practice tests to get your A. After all, Allan starts with A(but Felix has an F)!

All throughout my life I have absolutely despised math... I've gotten so much better and have even begun to enjoy it because of prof Felix. Tests are very fair and similar to the practice exams. Class is lively and is always fun to go to. He also gives good feedback - he just wants everyone to do well. Tip: stay on top of your homework!

Professor Felix is quite a nice person who is always there when we have any problem and is patient to every his student. Amazing amazing! Such a great personality & his class is always fun to be in. Makes learning math so interesting & always there for his students. Doesn't make u feel like ur stupid! Answers any questions u have until u clearly understand it. Gives online hw that helps towards ur grade for class as a test grade. Anyone who takes him would be lucky!
