Prof rambles on and on about things completely unrelated to the subject. She'll take 20 minutes to answer a question that should take 1 minute. Her exams were basically whole sections from the textbook. She is friendly and helpful but not a good lecturer. You will learn all about her personal life. Study the texts on your own-you'll learn more.

AWSOME!!! she rounds your mark by alot if she thinks class average isn't high, very helpful and clear. She wants students to do well, if they come to class. She's very funny and down to earth! I love this woman <3 Good job Burgess!

Have her for law and social order. AWESOME PROF, ONE OF THE BEST!! She doesn't teach right out of the book which is great. Hate when profs do that. She has many interesting examples and experiences to give. Interesting, funny, and genuine. Not boring. Fair on tests too and not easy like other ppl have said, our class avg was in the 60s.

Her intro to Canadian politics online course is great and she gives lots of marks for discussions. In addition to this, there are 2 take home exams that aren't difficult. She's also helpful too, and responds to emails in a polite manner. I love how she structures her class, and I hope she doesn't change it. AWESOME PROFESSOR!

Very Nice, But very disorganized and RAMBLES alot. Be prepared to listen to hours of unrelated (rarely interesting) lectures in your class. The assaignments also seem really bias to her interpretation of the law.

She was one of the WORST profs I've ever had. Her lectures are a waste of time; she never TEACHES; instead, just goes on different tangents that are completely unrelated to the course. You can get an A without bothering to read the textbook, or going to her boring class, but she gives out bonus marks for attendance. Never EVER take a class with her

Hands down one of the best Profs I've ever had! Not only did she help out with text book matters but she actually cares!!!! I was ill over the final and she sent back e-mails wishing me well. Never had a prof take the time to do that before!! Was REFRESHING!
