Professor Preston actually tried to make life easier. Her lectures were amazing, everything she spoke about and taught made sense. I enjoyed going to class. She was accessible outside of class, and made sure to help through any conflict that came in our way of successfully completing the course. Highly recommend taking a course with Prof. Preston.

Really enthusiastic, makes lectures entertaining and very easy to approach. But just make sure to not screw around and always bring your clickers because even though she's really nice, she'll be really stern with disrespectful people. Sometimes she walks around the lecture hall asking people questions in front of the class

Her lectures were really short because she would go off about other things. the class is pretty easy but there's a lot of readings assigned each week which is required for clicker questions that's worth 20% of your grade...

You know you love a class and want to do well when you come to lecture with a strep-throat. Professor Preston would always bring a lecture to life when she paired it with its back story and asked interactive questions. I really wish she would have taught us the whole year instead of switching professors. Super clear material presentation!

Honestly, one of my favourite professors and classes. She's definitely old-fashioned (no disruptions, phones ringing) but I love her. Very fair, very clear. I might be bias because it's my major but the lectures were incredibly interesting. She was the best professor of the three that we had! The material on tests were directly from text or lecture

Overall, this professor was the best professor I had. She doesn't read off her notes or slides so she really knows what she is talking about. She is good at explaining things and when there is an assignment, she gives a very clear and extensive review and specifics of what she wants. She does give an exam review for midterms and finals.

Dr. Preston is one of my favourite profs! She's so enthusiastic when she teaches and explains concepts perfectly. You must take good notes to do well on the quizzestest. Everything comes straight from the lectures therefore attendance is mandatory.

Easy course that all of your information on tests and course material can really be found online. They give you study guides for everything in this course as well, which really helps. The professors do not really help much but you wont really need to much guidance aside from a TA. And this is a clicker based course which forces you to go to class

I have a genuine interest in geo but this is my least fave course. She's a good lecturer but the course work is extremely vague and annoying. The "quizzes" cover more material than a normal test would and the assignments make no sense. She is absolutely horrible at a personal level in my opinion; totally unreasonable, unapproachable, and useless.

She doesn't know anything about technology. every class she spend 10 minutes on starting slides, clickers, lights, projectors and connections.
