Comment:

Make sure to come to class as he writes out his notes and there isn't any powerpoints. However, he does post review notes which can be helpful to study from. Make sure to memorize the insects, relationships, and specific details on each insect. Dr. Keddie is a really friendly and engaging professor, would recommend him for ENT378

ENT 378 is a super interesting course and Dr. Keddie is an engaging lecturer. He's old fashioned (no powerpoints) so going to class is essential. He does post review notes online but they're pretty bare-bones.

Great Professor. Knows his stuff, and is very respectful to his students. He tells really funny stories about his experiences that tie into the course material. He is a very fair marker and his tests reflect what he teaches (no surprises). He writes on the board/projector and this terms are often on the test so I recommend attending lecture.

There is a large paper in this class, but you are given sufficient time to complete it. Other than this the course was great, and Dr. Keddie is a great prof. He knows the information inside and out, and has funny stories about his experiences in life with relation to the material. Also, no textbook for the course which helped fund my drinking hobby

Andrew Keddie is awesome, when he is involved in a course I take it. Great prof with a vast amount of knowledge. Attending class is mandatory, as he writes down some important terms and information during lecture that he doesn't post online. One added bonus is no textbook.

Comment:

I took this class because I needed an extra science credit to graduate. I took ENT100 with another proff and HATED it, but Dr. Keddie's lectures had me boring my friends with all sorts of insect-related trivia. Lots of cool stories. The tests are longshort answer, but no surprises or nonsense. There's an essay for this class, but no labtextbook.

Had no previous knowledge about insect anatomy and physiology but Dr. Keddie provides the necessary information to understand all the material perfectly. He adds his own anecdotes to make the lectures as interesting as possible-at times his stories would take 15 minutes of the 50 min class! Write plenty on tests and you will do well.

Great professor. Took ENT 392 wi him last year. Did excellent in the class because he was so great. I decided to go into 378 with him but the class wasn't as interesting as 392. It was still easy I just didn't put lots of effort into the class. Didn't study for final, opened exam up and almost cried but somehow BSd my way into getting a good mark

He was so awesome. You could tell he loves what he is teaching. He is a great marker or maybe I found it fair/easy because he got me interested in the material that I didn't mind studying it. I recommend him for sure.

By far the most interesting professor I've had. His style of lecturing (no pre-posted notes or slides) forces you to pay attention - great because he is an excellent lecturer. Very helpful, gives out lots of exam tips and uses lots of examples and anecdotes to keep things interesting. Exams are very fair, he is an easy marker. Highly recommend!

Great prof. He posts notes after class so it is a good idea to attend class. Also he explains examples in class, and they are really helpful in understanding concepts. Really nice person and so helpful. Interesting anecdotes will keep you from zoning out too much. highly recommended!!

Great Prof! Gets distracted easily and tells random stories but it's very entertaining. Supplies online notes and no textbook. Tests are all written, don't expect any multiple choice. Highly recommend him as a teacher!!
