Had this prof for three courses in the last year. Pushes you to work harder and write better than any other prof. Never met a more supportive prof. Has since been helpful, months after being in her classes. Her brilliance is underestimated, and often mistaken for condescension - because most students aren't used to working hard and the value of it.

This was the worst prof I have had in my 4 years in university. Very condescending, and treats you like her child. The class had 1000 little assignments where you had to attend class to complete. Her comments on assignment were WRONG, Example: circling a word and asking its meaning!! Very long and boring lectures. STAY AWAY!

Was rude and condescending. Assigns work for which you get no mark. A million little assignments worth 3% each that you have to do 5 times to get her satisfied. Ask her a question, and you will either be subejcted to a 10 minute monologue, or get your head bitten off. Maybe better for another class... who knows.

this was definitly a very challenging course with a heavy workload but it would be no different with any other prof. I think ann denis is a very intelligent prof, who is a great help and is always there to suggest things to help you
