Good professor for those who want to learn. Prepares you very well for midterm and final. Weekly quizzes help you to learn the material. Chance at the end of the year to make up quizzes. Very good teacher.

Hated this course. She seems to have a hard time with her eyesight and often makes mistakes which are a huge problem when numbers are involved. Always find myself confused and frustrated. Unless you're an accounting genius you probably won't learn anything from her. She's very rude on occasion and was no help at all to me. Time to retire darling

Comment:

Very poor communication, if she decides to respond to an email it could be days or a week later. Very slow marker - didn't have all assignment marks before midterm or final. Do not recommend her for a distance course! Email to a huge part of communication. I felt alone in this course.

Extremely slow to return assignments. Please do not expect them before your exams. Very knowledgeable prof. Leave lots of time to complete the Proforma Balance and Income Statement Assignment. Ann expected it to take about 3 hours but on average in the class it took over 17/person.

I've found Ann to be a very kind prof. HOWEVER - I've taken two of her courses and she is tough. Her midterms and finals are difficult and you definitely need to be on the ball with your readings and assignments to even reach for a B... She is also a 'powerpoint reader' - her lectures are anything but exciting.

I have had Ann 4courses in prev. yrs & she was great. But this year it seems she has too much on her plate. SO UNORGANIZED. Grades before midterm released week of the final. Never sticks on schedule & has no time return student msgs unless you track her down in person-Then she is very helpful. I think she is just ready to retire.

I am shocked at the bad comments. Ann is on the ball. She is prepared for class, she knows her stuff. Anytime I had a tiny problem she was there helping me out. She is fair in her assignments but expects you to know your stuff on mid-terms and finals. Ann is one of the best, if you want a lazy prof, there are plenty at St.Marys

I was surprised to see the negative comments. I thought that this professor was great. She wasn't going to give away "free points" - but, as with any accounting course, it's all about keeping up. If you go to class and do all of your assignments, you will do just fine.

I am acutally disappointed to see that this prof. has not received a good review. I beleive she is very fair but will not tolerate nonsense. She won't hold your hand but everyone's got to grow up sometime.
