Her lectures are always fun and I love her energy! She always tries her best to reach out to students and her enthusiasm makes me want to study more French in the future. She's always willing to help out her students. It's sad that she will be retiring after this semester. El Camino is losing one of its best professors!!!

I really loved going to her class. She's very funny and helpful and keeps the class interactive & interesting. Assigns really helpful homeworks & exercises too. Passed the class with a D but I would definitely take this class again if I could.

I'd be hard pressed to find a better professor. Good sense of humor, very insightful, and she speaks French like a native Parisian. You'll know what's coming on the tests, and by the end of the semester you'll be well on your way to fluency. Also adds insights into French culture. My only qualm is that she won't be back for French 2 in the fall.

Wonderful teacher! She is so funny and helpful! I learned so much in her class. She always gives you a full study guide before every test so you know exactly what's going to be on it. She gives out a lot of homework but it's never hard.

Madame Cummings is the best teacher at El Camino. Learning a foreign laguage is very hard but she makes it as simple as possible. She is so funny and tells jokes to make class more interesting. I can tell she loves her job. I took French 1 & 2 with her and considered taking French 3 even though id be in over my head but she doesnt teach it anyway.

With a heavy heart, I just dropped her class. I was not getting the grade I strived for, but that is not her fault at all. Let me tell you something about this professor...she is incredible. She will bend over backwards in order for you to understand something. She is funny, intelligent, and over all just a piece of sunshine. Take her class.

she is an amazing teacher and she is so helpful. she is so nice and funny. i would strongly recommend her. if you are going to take a class that she teaches get her. you wont regret it. all you have to do is listen in class and study your notes. you will pass. you also have to do a notebook but its very simple. get her class!

Amazing professor! So unbelievably helpful, witty, and smart! The tests are hard so you must study, but Cummings is always ready to help you without hesitation.
