She was the most interesting prof I ever had because she had done so much research and always had something relevant to talk about. Was very helpful and approachable when visiting her in office. She inspired me to go to grad school. She was very enthusiastic about sociology and had interesting papers that forced us to think.

she's helpful only when u approach her one-on-one. in class, she doesn't lecture unless questions are brought up. the format of the workshops are RETARDED! making up our own results is stupid! her tests are stupid as well. Her questions are too specific and don't relate to any of the course readings. I wouldn't recommend this class to anyone!

Like every1 said, tests are hard & unfair.She asks questions that are related 2 the material in the randomest way & will never change a mark, even if it's obvious she is wrong. Essay worth 40% is replica of Methods, only results are made up so no point.If didn't know better, I would think this was a STATS class. Don't recommend this class - at all!

She is the rudest professor I ever had, when students try to participate in class discussions she tells them to their face in the rudest way that they are wrong. She is not helpful to her students at all, if you ask her for help on what to do on an assignment she will respond "I don't know, what do you think you should do" like that is very helpful

Prof Ambert if a ****ing ****!!! I hated her course. I ended up with a C+. It brought my entire GPA down, and I'm an A student. Her tests do not reflect course material. Her english is horrible. She will never help you if you don't understand something, and she plays favorites. PLEASE DON'T TAKE ANY COURSES WITH HER!!!

Her assignments were pretty easy. Second half of the course was just assigned to a group project. Tests were a little hard some questions came out of the blue. Lectures were boring, cant undersand her english very well and she talks alot.
