Took him for intermediate accounting. Knows his accounting and communicates very well. Has various degrees in different subject matters so he gives you different view points. Tells you what is important in chapter. Tests are not easy but if you study they are passable. Do your work and he gets you thru with a decent grade. Would take him again.

filled in when my intermediate I prof was ill. I got an A+ by studying on my own time and taking the exams created by the dept chair. he's an attorney as well and has a different perspective on accounting, so I would not recommend him for financial-acct related courses- maybe income tax. Did not notice/care if students were in attendance.

He just reads from book then tells you to do problems and does them on the board after. Which is great but his hand writing is so bad you dont know what he is writing. Also, he takes about 3 weeks to grade the tests. About half the class fails the test but passes only by the grade curving which ends up needing to be like 20 points

He is constantly going off topic, answering his phone and walking out of the classroom. Basically he only teaches for half of the class but when he does teach he's pretty straight forward and wants you to understand the work and does a pretty good job. Take only if you're not too serious about the subject.

Great teacher. Alot of work for summer - he tells you that in the first class. Reads important parts of the book to you, tells you to highlight those parts of the book (great study aid for test)and than explains what the authors are trying to say. Would take him again.

The summer was difficult. 3-4 hours of accounting is alot at one time. Gives same amount of work in the summer as regular semester. But he tells you that in the first class. One long break in a 3-4 hour class. Very good at what he does. Gets message across well. Would take him again.

taking him for summer session- seems to have much to not care about the amount of work. hes always late and his phone rings-he picks it up too! I agree with the prior post, he's an accountant that has looking for a teaching gig. He would rather take a 25 min break then let the class out any early. For people who work ft, be careful, he doesnt care

Giving way 2 much work during summer session, 2 chapters per week and every week test, final week coverd 3 chapters on the test.On the test expects students to remember all formulas, production cost schedule, cash flow schedule and much more (for the summer session of every week test is too much to remember). Personality annoying.
