Borde is wonderful. He makes it really easy to get a good grade in his class, even if the material is hard to understand. There is a 9 question quiz every week and he allows a notecard with all the notes on it. I mean, what more could you want? He also gives extra credit throughout the semester in small doses. Definitely recommend!

He provides packets of his powerpoints and has you fill in blanks. This was useful because the key points usually led to homework answers, and homework answers usually led to questions on the weekly quizzes. You have to go to class, especially on quiz day, or else you won't do well.

Very caring professor who listens to the students concerns ! Gives out a book of notes to fill out key points which I find is helpful instead of copying down everything you hear in a lecture and not knowing what is important and what isnt. The points he gives us to fill out are very helpful. Very funny professor makes lecture go by quite fast !

He gives you his own bookand pretty much each class you have to show up to fill in the blank for the notes. He gives you the notes then says He has a meeting So class ends in 20-40 minutes. He doesnt teach just reads the notes off his book. Terrible at explaining questions and often giggles when you ask a question he consider easy.

Two words: "Integral Crunchies" I took this class back in '97 and I still remember how he worked with the non-math majors and proved the general theory of relativity on the blackboard. Formative class for me.

Hard prof, but did his best to help me. Deserved an F, but gave me a pity D. Integration just not my thing, but had nothing to do with him. He's funny and a good guy. Really knows his math. God bless Arvind Borde.

It was kind of a BS class... for three hours a night. But it wasn't too bad, I guess. I mean, it could have been Global 2.
