Worst teacher I've had among four graduate schools. Relies on 'kumbaya' approach, asking students for personal feelings, not empirically established facts. Silly selection of texts, loose grasp of material, dedicated solely to preserving her position in faculty hierarchy, not in teaching students anything. Mean-spirited to dissenters. Avoid.

She is awesome--an intelligent, talented professor who cares about what she teaches, wants you to succeed. Took her Gothic Novel class, loved every minute of it. If you read the material and have half a brain you'll do fine. [btw f*** all you people who complained about her "lifestyle" she is awesome, honest, proud--totally appropriate.]

What a moody ****! Seriously, her grading scale sux, you lose points for every punctuation and spelling error, her grading is extremely biased and dependant on her opinion. On the plus, her current events quizzes are pretty easy, but damn I couldn't stand her!
