Terrible class. Horribly difficult material, and he wastes the majority of class time picking on/calling out students and giving incomprehensible examples- when he's not telling pointless boring stories. Nice enough guy, but take another prof!

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, Professor Marinelli is one of the best professors at OU. If you do your work and pay attention in class, he will bend over backwards to help you through his class.

He made class interesting and you had no choice but to participate because he calls on people randomly. If you get the question wrong he'll make fun of you, but it's funny if you're not the one answering. Class isn't as bad as I expected and he is the best teacher for BUSL 255 without a doubt!

I thought this class was going to be hard but it wasn't. Marinelli is kind of an odd old man, he always goes way off subject and also makes jokes that aren't always that appropriate so if you're sensitive I would avoid him. I found it humorous though and he kept me awake at 8am. The class is really easy, HUGE curve!

the huge curve will get you a good grade, but he brags about his life & his money and thinks he is hilarous. coulnt count the times he laughed histerically at himself. He basically isnt nice. if you dont know the answer he will make you feel dumb & wont let you forget it for the rest of the quarter. you can tell hes smart but class wasnt enjoyable.

Marinelli is VERY longwinded and loves to hear himself talk. He likes to recount personal anecdotes and go off on tangents, but usually ends up relating it to the material in some way. He grades (and curves) fairly and generally presents the material well. If you read and do all the briefs, you should be fine.

Great experience. I recommend it to anyone with no background in b Law because Marinelli gives you boring lectures with a hilarious twist that no one could ever see coming. The man is extremely witty and entertaining, especially to himself. Cluster made it an easy class.

Worse instructor -- Waste of my time and money. Did not learn a thing and had the biggest curve I've ever witness. He liked the sound of his own voice, rambled on & on about nothing. Got a B in the class but wish I had taken this class with someone else. Will never take another class of his.

I took his Tier 3 class on law. He likes to hear himself talk and he likes to tell his life story about all the people he knows across the world. On the plus side, the class was really easy. However you have to consider whether it's worth it to hear this blowhard ramble on and on for two hours.

Marinelli knows a lot about law since he's been practicing for 40 years. He will call on students randomly and guide them through a discussion. Even though the material can be difficult to comprehend, there is a ridiculous curve that allows almost everyone to get an A or B.

The laugh will get you everytime. Not a bad class to sit through for two hours. First quiz might hurt you a little bit, but after that you're fine! He loves what he does and that shows everyday. He might pick on you, but that means he likes you. Definitely take Business Law with him!

Dr. Marinelli shows a lot of interest and desire to teach students law and I enjoyed his class the most out of the sophomore cluster. Only class I learned anything in and helps out for future benefit. Class easy A- if you read and can comprehend law jargin with only 1 test. The laugh is classic

Graduate level business law course. Animated, humorous, engaging -- he actually made the subject enjoyable. If you don't want to read, study, or learn anything, don't take this course. He loves what he does and it shows. One of the best!
