Good professors tell you what to think about. Bambi tells you what to think. When writing a paper for her you need to use the language she uses or she will take off points. You can not have your own opinions. The only theories that are correct are apparently hers so if you don't like to have your own opinion then yay this class is for you!

Class is ok- the readings were great - Dr. Lobdell knows a lot of interesting information and makes the class fly by. The essays get increasingly longer and tougher as the semester goes on. She can be somewhat scatterbrained and forgets about things on her syllabus regularly

Lobdell is the best! Class easy if you pay attention in class and read. Make sure you talk to her cause she'll boost your grade if she knows you. As long as you pay attention, participate some and NOT TEXT in class, you'll do fine. Definitely Recommended.

I absolutely love this professor with all my heart, I have taken multiple classes with her and can't get enough - she's great and passionate about what she teaches. She is super repetitive.. but the material is interesting so it's okay :P

Very down to earth and easy going. Shows her notes on a word document and does not put them on angel so you have to write down everything she says if you want any information to study for tests. Very nice teacher, only 4 tests that are mostly common sense but she does give a lot of pop quizzes so make sure you read. Makes the topic very interesting

I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR! She is extremely down to earth, honest, and super easy to talk to. This was my first women's studies class and I was just taking it for an elective.. but she is incredible and made me want to declare a minor in Women's studies. No joke. She's AMAZING!! TAKE ALL HER CLASSES THAT YOU CAN!

Excellent professor. Dr. Lobdell clearly knows what she's talking about. Easy going down-to-Earth teacher who isn't too hard. You HAVE to read the books she assigns. Almost everything is quite short and interesting. Tests are very easy if you've read and paid attention in class.

The easiest class I had this semester. She isn't a very bright person at all and some things that she said or would write made me feel like I was not only not learning anything, but decreasing my IQ. Easy A, one research paper and usually a weekly essay of only 2 pages that you can finish in 20 minutes.

I took her Women's LIT class and I absolutely LOVED it. She's a really fair teacher and fair grader. The class never met on Fridays- just had to do an online discussion. A couple of quizzes on the readings but they were never hard, and only 2 tests (the midterm, and the final). I would DEFINITELY take a class with her again in a second!!

One of the best classes I have ever taken. The nicest teacher and very interesting. The books she requires the class to read are interesting too. And trust me ...I HATE to read. I highly highly recommend this class. I am far from an A student, but I got an A in this class.

Very good professor. Easy tests, basically common sense. You need to read some sections of the books, but they are like 2-3 pages. She takes attendance everyday. We spend a lot of time watching music videos and discussing gender. Over all, a fun class.

Very nice teacher. If you want to learn about writing, it's probably not the best class. If you want an easy A with very little writing, then sign up as soon as you can.
