Comment:

Called our group the weakest she'd ever seen, blaming it on the provincial teachers strike. She changed assignments several times/ last minute to "accommodate" this but her changes were vague and poorly thought out. She also kept opportunities from us based how "unprepared" we were. Her attitude towards the strike was more limiting than the strike.

I did not understand packaging until Barb gave us projects sponsored by large corporations. Barb's business background helped me understand the sales part of packaging design that other teachers don't mention

Barb bring added interest to her teaching because she teaches beyond regional issues. She works with large corporations that offer prize money for projects we'd have to do in class anyways. She gives complex projects that forces me 2 think outside the box. She marks hard but is good about giving more chances to do work for extra marks.

I was exciting about packaging class. There is real potential for a fun learning environment with a lot of relevant topics. But the class turned out to be completely stressful, not because of the work load, but because of the unfair marking , consistently failing among all peers, demotivational teaching techniques. "Too designer" was a critique.
