The course material may seem hard for many students. Do the assignments and test reviews you'll be fine. For me, it is an easy course. It does not need much understanding but rather getting to know how to do calculations (formulas are given).

Has a bit of a temper, when a student did not understand a fairly simple topic, if he ran out of ways to present the idea (which was usually only once) his level of frustration became very apparent in his voice.

Very kind and helpful, especially in the labs! Always was willing to help me out whenever I had questions. Prepares you well for the midterm and exam. The assignments were sometimes challenging, but they're all the same no matter who you take the course with, so it doesn't really matter.

Really good guy, he is easy to talk to, his assignments can be sometimes hard, but not impossible. His classes are well planned, and his tutorials can be a big help when it comes to exam time because one example we did in class was on the exam. All in all good teacher and would not mind having him again.

Excellent prof! Easy to talk to 1 on 1, and genuinely cares how I was doing in class. One of the best profs at UNB, profs like Eric make UNB what is it - a great school!

Assignments are harder than need be. The tests have unfair questions that require assumptions you don't know you are allowed to make. Not bad at teacher, but a total jerk in terms of assinments and tests.

Both he and Rauch are similar, enthusiastic, but they just simply review their own notes, they don't "teach" you much in class. You really need to learn on your own time from the book., using notes as reference to target material. I just never went to class for him or Rauch, made no difference really.

Tough course but good prof. He scheduled weekly tutorials when he found many students were having difficulty. Believe me - there have been much worse teaching this course than him.
